Can't wait to see a fit transformation. Been trying to do the same with my GF's fit. Head's up there's a open recall on the drive axles that I believe covers this year car. Its for rust damage on them. Definitely something to look into taking it to Honda and having them checked. Hers broke on us a month or so ago just driving it down the street. Got a nice pic of it snapped in half. Those look a little rusty so might be coverable and great for the new owners to have!

I would do the after market shifter. Even if your not trying to "racecar" it being all metal and not sloppy plastic makes the shifts so much more positive and crisp. I had an 07 Hyundai Accent back in the day and changing the shifter and getting rid of the plastic made such an improvment on shift feel.

You can't go wrong with this car choice,i am a older guy so driving a stick shift is easy for me.i would stay with the stock shifter because a race style one would get tiresome for a daily driver.keep up the good work!

I've had my gd7 Fit since 08. Honestly its super reliable. Best daily there is. A lot of people turn these into track cars because of how rigid the chassis is as well. Regardless I am excited to see where you go with this. My opinion for cosmetics. A decent coilover wheel combo with some 16's. Try to source the fit sport aero kit with spoiler and fog lights. Get the driver armrest center console mod and try to clean up the body work. Maybe PDR? Cheers!

I'm so happy to see a genuine, budget and REAL car transformation. A lot of other KZbinrs have forgotten that most people that watch their channel, don't have 5k-10k to drop in a car build. As someone that does buffing professionally for a large automotive dealership, this was not a bad job buff wise. Although for a full paint correction we wet sand, compound, then polish. Still not bad. Props to you man. Looking good so far!

A heatgun on the faded plastic works better than any back to black in a bottle, it last longer too. Goof-Off works waaaaaaay better to remove adhesive, I like the one that comes in the old school metal can. Also wouldn't wet sanding the touch up paint blend it in better?

The Fit is awesome fun on Gran Turismo. It’s a clean (now it is), reliable, economical, useful and fun baby Vtec. Would be nice to eventually put some clean proper JDM wheels on it

Rad brotha .... and here in NC u only get one plate fir back of car there is no front plate but my home state of NH requires both front and rear tags or its a fine/ticket .. personally i think 2 tags is a waste of materials as whenever there trouble they usually behind u anyways

Wheels make the car. And i'd lower it an inch inch n a half too. Maybe you can just cut the springs ? Rear spioler and rubber front lip. That will Transform it from lame to flame sir.

Get a porter cable dual action polisher, they are not that expensive and you cannot beat the bang for the buck, you can get one for $130 brand new or under $100 used

Buy a pinstripe remover wheel. It's a round rubber wheel. It will remove adhesive from paint 100x faster

Instead of a headlight resto kit. You should start sanding down the headlights and re clear-coat them. A can of 2K Clear is only $16. Makes the headlights look brand new!
