Maxson Goh Films the first revenue service trip for the new Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CRRC Qingdao Sifang C151C. Set 701/702 arrived at Ang Mo Kio Station towards Choa Chu Kang at 7.09am, followed by Set 703/704. Both trains meet side by side at the end of the video at Choa Chu Kang.

SMRT is quite smart this time. They put the trains on AMK-CCK to discourage regular passengers (usually JE transfers) from riding (effectively a "charter" run), and ran two trains to minimize fan crowding that always ends up with ugly politics by evening.

Unfortunately it doesn't have the emergency exit window on the NEL/CCL/DTL. Maybe it's by design (complex train systems plus brownfield) Oh btw, that ending would've been a photo-op, if the train arriving came slightly later.
