Remember when this bus was really common around Singapore and now they're all gone...and I love the noisiness of the Woodlands int. because of those O405's..and The O405Gs. Those O405s make the Interchange noisy...noisy in good way..

They sure have better smell,aircons,engine and doors.Unlike the A22/A24/A95,they have very noisy doors when closing.R.I.P Hispano Carrocera boxes,1994-2016:(

Yeah ik but TIBs have different door closing chimes and bell chimes like ding dong for volgren.unlike smrt doors are closing beep beep beep beep beep(except for citaro demo and E500)

+ksiong chei yeah love all varients of mercedes 0405,in fact all buses bought by tibs duing the 1990s and early 2000s are awesome,sadly they are due to scrap because of lta stupid policy of bus retirement

+Omegahacker924 lta should had not be founded so no stupid rules like euro 3 and above can be reserved but euro 1 or 2 they say scrap them all!

These Old Reliable Benz 0405 Hispano Voith Engine had served SMRT bus since THEN Trans Island Bus had Bought them to Differentiate the Rival SBS Transit with the Same Mercedes Benz 0405 and Alexander Duple had modified these Buses to fit the LTA Requirements then.

Voith is not an engine, it's a gearbox. Also, SMRT O405s aren't Voith-fitted. They are coupled to the ZF4HP500 Transmission.
