[SMRT] Showcase | 5 Years of MANdies on Service 858

29th November marks 5th year anniversary of the introduction on the MAN NG363F (A24) buses to trunk service 858. Ever since these high-capacity buses were deployed on this frequent high demand service, from Woodlands to Changi Airport, it has benefitted (especially on peak hours) a lot of commuters by allowing them to board more on a single bus.

The Demonstrator MAN A24 (SMB388S) will be celebrating its 8th anniversary while the others MAN A24 (SMB8001E-SMB8037C) is 6th anniversary this year (2021)

Starting From Tower Transit take over. 858-Will Become A stock Bendy Buses service For The entire fleet So no more A22. LTA is in discussion & negotiations with the Changi airport group to allow 858 to operate at the Level 2 hall area for Double deck deployment. Smrt(formally)-A22&A24 deployment. Tower transit for next 6 Years-A24 Full Fleet Due to it mostly full.
