Like opened at 4.5 on dk and the sharp money blasted SMU. It's stayed at 7.5 despite every plumber in America taking over a TD with an undefeated team. Really makes you think.

This game scares me as a Pitt fan. On the road, night game against a good SMU team. I'm still surprised at the line though. Guess we'll see. That's why they play the games and I don't bet on them haha

There are 2 reasons for the spread. Holstein went out late and is now listed as questionable. And Pitts offense was not firing the last 2 games the way it was the first 5. Pitt beat Cal 17-15 and if not for a missed field goal would have lost. And probably because they were only on the field for 44 plays the offense didnt show much last Thursday. But that was because Pitts defense did decide they wanted to see what playing offense was like against Cuse and scored 3 times.

Pitts offense definitely hasn’t been as hot last 2 weeks but can we not say the same thing about SMU having 6 turnovers last game being off and I think Pitts defense is better than SMU

@patriots5354 the offense didn't have the chance to do much and with they 6 possessions they had off turnovers that were not returned for a TD Pitt scored a TD or FG

SMU player should have received a penalty for leaping on the blocked field goal that caused overtime. SMU turns the ball over two times in the game against Pitt this weekend and Pitt will make them pay for it as opposed to Duke with Murphy. Murphy would be great at a G6 school but not A4 school. Now Hudson Card (another former Texas QB) is a different story. I still think SMU is disingenuous and will finish with 3 losses and maybe 4. But I thought they be 5-3 not 7-1. So I was wrong on that. But two schools the Mustangs beat were supposed to be great and not disastrous.
