The railway car with the hidden compartment and the people on the receiving end is precisely why I tell my grand kids to stay out of the railway sidings if a train happens to be parked. You never know what kind of people you are going to encounter in a railway yard or railway siding. Railway gangs are pretty deadly.

CBP is always talking about how the cartels always have people watching them from a distance wherever they are just to see what they're up to, you can bet they have people watching control points like this as their shipments are passing through. They probably know it's pointless and would rather take the cartels goods while they can. Plus, tracking down traffickers inside the US is the FBI or ATF's job, that would take actual coordination between law enforcement agencies and it would have to happen fast, before the shipment is scheduled to arrive. Speaking of speed...how is anyone going to duplicate packages that fast anyway? They didn't know 36 bricks of weed were coming, and even if they did then there was no way of telling how big the bricks are and how they were packaged. They would have to have duplicates ready to go at a moments notice, that's impossible.

@@clintlovewinds7525 yes but you can still put it on the cart that the drugs were in and you dont excatly have to make the packages identical just see where its going to go because most likely even if you make the packages the same it will still be checked when they are picked up by the cartels. The best solution would probably track the cart and follow it physically and when it does stop or when someone looks for the drugs get them but it would be incredibly ineffcient as you would probaly catch some crooks instead of "the source of the problem" so basically whole operation would be pointless as you would spend good money for it. Plus the chance of them already being allerted is highly likely so you might not even catch anyone. But I can imagine if they come accross more expensive and destructive drugs like cocaine in this size they might track it.
