In many cases, the serial numbers are still intact. *The only thing this does is potentially help the police trace the chain of custody of the weapon, but that serial number never prevented this weapon getting into a felon's hands.* People that can shoot back are in a much better position than the people *who don't want to because they are afraid of fear itself.*

Those people are operating on the basis that in nearly every country in the world other than the states at the time of purchase the firearm is registered to an individuals ID. So there's at least a beginning point chain of custody to get a lead, and at the very least you could know its manufacture date, and what FFL's it was transferred to prior to sale..... But yeah, for sure, any crim with a "Hot" firearm is most likely going to ditch it and cop another before their next adventure, and I bet they wont be buying from a reputable outlet. It's wild to me that there is no registration, and no safe storage laws in the US, but I totally get it, you give them an inch and they take a mile, which has happened here in Australia.

Any technology can be used for ill intent, regardless of how simple it may be. The fact the technology exists is a result of... education. You're doing a great job to help educate. The root of "gun" issues, and many others, stem back to... Education. We are living in an incredible age where Star Trek levels of outrageous are within reach. At the core, a watch would have been considered wizardry due to it's ability to allow armies to coordinate an attack at an exact moment, silently. Keep educating on what we can, and should, be looking to do with our capabilities.

I am a European the same thing is happening here there are multiple gangs who have 3D printed guns in their possession even though we have stricter laws on guns and all that it doesn't stop the criminals it's just stops the normal person from having a gun and protecting themselves from criminals like right now there is a criminal on the loose right now where I live he has killed two people with a shotgun because he thought they called the police on him currently there are military police and special and terrorist units hunting him it's been more than 12 days and people are terrified they cannot do anything about it but the locked in their house and pray that he doesn't come in and shoot them

Flavor of the week, distracts nicely from the auto pistols that are being distributed to inner city 14 year olds. Fast and Furious in the homeland but let’s focus on garage builders.

This may be a huge shock to you, but a country can have many very bad problems at once. Statistics are undeniable: deaths by guns and mass shootings are an epidemic as well as fentanyl, but we are the ONLY country with this anywhere near this amount of gun violence.

Sure looks like it, huh? When all the `criminals` being interviewed are in masks and voices changed... they could just as easily be actors saying their lines. Not saying that is the case, but I can't say it isn't. The more I watch of her investigations the more I question how much is just dramatization. It's always smart to question what you read/see/hear...
