Hi MarioGlitchy9, thanks for the subscription. I will check your channel. Regarding your comment, I don't understand what 'OC' means... I'm sorry. I'll post new videos soon on glitching SMW :)!
@MarioGlitchy95 жыл бұрын
Okay I'll hit the bell. Also "OC" Stands for "Original Character" so your KZbin icon has an original character so you'd call that an OC. Sorry for not being clear about that
@TheUnintendedGamer5 жыл бұрын
@@MarioGlitchy9 Thanks a lot MarioGlitchy for your answer. So, my OC is actually Mario at Power Status 96. This Power Status can be useful to perform some unintended exits, as it enables you to spawn a Keyhole at the Goalpost if holding a Spring or a P-Switch.

Hi! Just to make clear that this 'tutorial' on the Powerup Incrementation glitch is for the Japanese version of SMW. For the US version, the principle is the same, but the position of Yoshi on the rotating platform is two pixels to the left. See Seth Bling's video for more details: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqKpZX2QbNepe8U. Cheers!

@The Unitended Gamer: When I do the power-up incremenation glitch, I'm one pixel behind on the right side of the brown platform faceing right, spite when yoshi lip align with the background moutain, and it still work for me despite being one pixel behind, I'm doing on WiiU virtual console, and now Snes online Nintendo switch.
@TheUnintendedGamer5 жыл бұрын
Hi SuperNickid! I used an original Japanese Cartridge played on a Retro trio 3 console in the PAL format. The power-up incrementation is a pixel-perfect glitch. You have to be at a specific x-coordonate on Yoshi facing right on the rotating platform. Indeed, if I place Yoshi one pixel either left or right, the game freezes... However, I have notice that my setup is not identical as the setup usually shown using the NTSC USA Cartridge (see the excellent video by Seth Bling kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqKpZX2QbNepe8U). So I guess that the WiiU and Switch version are based on the USA Super Mario World, which make sense... I am wondering, in these versions, do the level counter at the beginning stops at 96 exits, or you can more (unintended) exits like on the Japanese version? Thanks for the comment
@SuperNickid5 жыл бұрын
@@TheUnintendedGamer : I was using the US version when doing the power-incrementation glitch, and it was seth bling video that show me the exact position to be on the platform, I guess maybe you need to be one pixel more to the right for it to work on the japanese version, did not test that theory out yet, despite also having the Japanese version on SNES online Nintendo switch. First time ever that I play a full 100% run on the japanese version officially on Nintendo Console, so I can found out more diffrence with, the US, and the Japanese, and I did found diffrence that where not mention before.
@TheUnintendedGamer5 жыл бұрын
@@SuperNickid Cool! I guess you could do a video on the differences you found. It will interest many gamers. I just purchased an original SNES console (PAL version), so I will see if the difference comes from the fact I was playing on the Retro trio 3 console... I'll let you know the results. Cheers!
@SuperNickid5 жыл бұрын
@@TheUnintendedGamer: there only minior diffrence, In Japanese version if you glide down into the goal tape, when it his on highest point you get the 50 star point, doing that same thing on the US version you get in-between 22, to 30 start points, and the magic koopa, shoot his magic really fast in the japanesse version. I know already before trying funky level that there would only 3 green berry in the japanese version, so I assume they would have been in the beginning. to make it harder, nope, all 3 green berries where at the end, so it was not as hard as I expected it to be.

@@TheUnintendedGamer I don't know if the All-stars version of Super mario world if the power-incrementation glitch works. Hopefully they will put it on Nintendo switch way latter so I can test because that his an exclusive for US, and Europe.

@TheUnintendedGamer4 жыл бұрын
Haha! did not see it like that before! Hope that Shrek is not a the jealous type... In SMW, Princess Peach takes the color palette of Mario. Here, Mario at Powerup Status 8 is kinda green (some call him Sub-zero Mario...). Other powerup status with different color palette also change the appearance of Peach. I could a video on that possibly. Cheers!

@@oitthegroit1297 Possibly. I only tested with low powerup status. To get at 211, it takes about 3 hours... I think that the shape of the Princess will stay the same, but the color will be change. But there is only one way to found out!

Hi Minecraft TNT! You're right to have notice the not-so-good quality of some of my videos... I recorded relatively recently (2018+) using I guess a cheap USB video capture device... Also, my computer back then was a bit old. Anyway, I was just happy to manage to record my gameplay. I'll try to improve my video capture quality. Thanks for the comment!

Hey, powerup incrementation is you doing it almost in the middle of the second and first stripe. In the US, His feet needs to be pixel perfect on the 2nd stripe and spit it at the edge of this 2nd mountain
@TheUnintendedGamer4 жыл бұрын
Hey Nehemiah! You're right that the position on the rotating platform (which is critical) is not the same for the japanese and US version of SMW. Yoshi's feet have to be aligned with the left side of the second stripe (see Seth Bling's videos). I think that the spitting is exactly the same though between the two versions. I recently bought an adaptor (to play US games on a PAL console) and an US version of SMW. And the powerup incrementation glitch works perfectly, with the correct US position on the platform. I'm planning to do some videos using the US SMW. Thanks a lot for the comment! Cheers!
