If you have swimsuit Chen to e2, even without mastery or skills maxed, it works. Horn works great for the back of the defender stack, btw.

Of course. You have 6 positions left in the squad. Just take melee operators to block the enemies.

I recommend a wandering medic. But actually any medic is OK here. But you have to prepare more melee because the melee at Popkar's tile will die frequently, then you have to deploy someone else ASAP. But the later stages requre a wandering medic badly. Not only because the element treatment but also the larger healing range.
