Combine with peanut butter and jam (also available there) you could make a decent pb&j for a few dollars. p.s. I heard the hash browns in the frozen section of mr dollar comes from the same factory that makes for McD. I don't know if it's the truth but they do taste the same!

I love dollar store finds! The cookies near the end were MACRONS a cousin to MACAROONS. Macrons is an Italian version of the sandwich cookie and Macaroons is the French version. Sometimes I mix those up though 🤔 lol. The French version uses coconut flour I believe. So the "cookie" is different. They use similar fillings. I love both. Great, now I have to go find some macaroons 🤣. Craving!!

*sigh* "macarons" are the light sandwich cookie pictured on the packaging, made of ground almonds, coming in many flavours, and being the face of many a patissiere bc they're a right pain to make well. "macaroons" are the dense, shapeless coconut cookies that are the scourge of every grandma's repertoire and exist mainly to use up unwanted dessicated coconut and disappoint people who thought they were getting macarons. "Macron" is the current president of france.

There are reasons why the DIY founder(s) is/are wealthy. Safe and THOUGHTFUL lines of products, and never hold on to just a few ones, to "establish identity" or something. Went to get some same stuff from DIY and they don't have those any more. Range qualities of the new ones are similar and a lot of times better, so no complaints. They know what they're doing.
