Although I took my kids fishing the other day, and we had swans coming onto our peg to try and steal our bait and hissing at us. My boys are only 6 and 8, they've caught some carp before but my eldest said the same as you, he said "I wanna catch a bream" and he did just that. He was chuffed Look forward to the next installment of the predator fishing ant and Dec's fishing adventures 😀. I've been lucky and my dad has a boat, nothing better than waking up on the river or canal and getting a rod in the water, minus the swans ofcourse. Hi Guys, So you finally get on a boat for a few days. I lived on mine for five years, It was the best time ever. It was on the Thames as well. We would bring boats up from the South to the North. Our last one was During Lockdown, all the way from Surrey to Stafford. Because the owners don't want to go on the Thames. We had some Huge fish along the way. Tom, Sean .. ive only just seen you started your journey on the narrow boat , from my dads farm road in Armitage, my dad even said there was a red van parked on our road the other day !! ,im 12 year old and fly fish in the England youth team , im a very keen fly pike fisherman as well as trout and we do lure fishing in the winter months also on the canal and our stretch of the river , ive had some good success on the fly with pike , my Dad has recently started me a channel on youtube with some of my success in the past few months , it would be great to do a session with you as im always watch your vidoes ..
