i think we gotta apreciate the animation more. according to my math (and assuming the industry standard 24fps), this entire mv was 5616 frames. 5616 drawings, fully rendered, storyboarded, the likes. any artist knows just how *long* it takes to render a still drawing, let alone 5 thousand with the correct motion when chained together!!! and just about a year of production time, too!!!! seriously, hats off to xoxo_685 and soresaki for making such a gorgeous mv, and also to every single other artist commissioned to make the snail's house mv's ❤❤❤ anyways, wonderful job done on the music (as always)!! sound traveller is easily gonna be on loop for the next couple of days, lol. keep snailin' 🐌🐌🎵 edit: some of the replies make excellent points about 2's, 3's and 4's, as well as copy/paste for the background. taking that into account, i'm gonna fix my math a bit!! im estimating somewhere from 30-40 backgrounds in the entire mv, which means 30-40 rendered pieces for the bg (this is not including the moving objects in the first wonderland scene). i imagine this already takes at least 48 hours of work to make. also, assuming this is mostly done on 2's (which would basically make the fps 12. i dont think it's any lower than that for most of it), the frame count goes to 2808. with still drawings, i'd say about 1.5k frames of motion? i'm not entirely sure lol, could be more, could be less. its absolutely a lot faster to colour in just the character 1.5k times rather than colour the whole scene 5k times, but 1.5k is still a lot. keep in mind that this is also leaving out the fact that creating the storyboard and polishing the animation takes huge amounts of time too. (also, the colour in scrolling sections are probably copy pasted, but lining up the colour correctly is usually a huge pain lol. it gets frustrating instead of super time consuming!!! the scrolling might be done by the animation software instead of by hand, idk how hard it is to set up tho since i have never used any software past free flipaclip) all this is to say that it takes enormous amounts of skill, patience and dedication to make one of these mv's, so give all the artists lots of love!!

I mean, I agree on appreciating it, but the drawings number is no good. You don't draw 5616 full frames, because most of it is the background and if you draw that anew for every frame then you love to torture yourself for absolutely no reason

I love how the title of this song matches with the animation and message of the video It started with snail Chan listening to music before entering the alice in wonderland like world, so along with the ending its clear that this is all in snail chans head, her listening to the music and imagining the video like alot of people do. So my interpretation of the princess snail is that she's snail Chans inner self, sadness that she holds in. However, she's able to cheer her up with candy(possibly symbolizing good thoughts or happy memories) and music. Sometimes, you just need a good song in your life or to think about things that make you happy

This was an awesome music video! I really love the animation for this video, gives Alice in Wonderland vibes from it. Also the lighting and design of the characters/environment is really well done. It reminds me of Imaginary Express, but it has a very unique style in this MV and the music is outstanding. Definitely in my Top 5 favorite AMV from Snails House.
