Barret lake is such a great trail! Some really cool rigs, I'm sure I have seen the silver buggy with blue springs on the trails before. I loved watching this, you had some really good wheeling. Another awesome video

Very nice video. Looks like a really fun trail. Were going to have to make it up your way next year. Almost need a week to run most of the beautiful trails you have shown everyone. Great job showing the beauty in your area.

I remember back in the 90's the S turn was called the rock garden if I'm not mistaken.
@SnailTrail4x44 жыл бұрын
Nice, we've been talking about the name for a long time and your the first to respond with a name. Thanks

On that black LJ, what make/brand fender flares is he running? Also, what size tires are those?

@snailtrail4x4 , are there shortcuts around the "hard lines" ? do you think some quads/utv could make it to Barrett? (possibly with kids)
@SnailTrail4x44 жыл бұрын
I saw a guy doing it on a Quad on this run. I was shocked. He was using a winch to get over some of the obstacles. It would be very tough.

Would a 2012 Wranger sport with 2" lift, 35's, and factory limited slip rear be able to make this trail?
@SnailTrail4x44 жыл бұрын
Maybe, You would want full skids and rocksliders and be ok with the fact if you get body damage
@RugbyLock26684 жыл бұрын
Fun video! What specs would you recommend to be able to do this trail?

Been too long since I've run barrett. Just remember if you hike out to the wreckage make sure you get your free wilderness permit from the ranger station

Absolutely true. You enter into Desolation Wilderness

Hi Jimmy, love your channel, just bought a 2017 Toy 4Runner TrD offroad with some front end damage. I've ordered a radiator and bracket, hood and bumper, I think I need the support arms that attach the top of the bumper to the radiator bracket. Where would you suggest I find them? Can't seem to find them on ebay like everything else. I will be doing the spacers and coil-overs and shocks 2-3", your video's will be mint for that. Whenever I get anywhere near you in my travels, dinner is on me, thanks I will post a before and after and send you a link when done, Going with the Barcelona Red, wife likes red, thanks again.

Lol "Stalled = Embarrassed"! Way harder to drive a manual offroad. No shame in stalling. I stall mine out every 2 minutes or so... it's a good time 😎

The Toyota is bottoming out his rear shocks. Not even properly done... Smh.
@SnailTrail4x44 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the springs are worn out and since this video I have gotten new 3" lift 63" springs and it doesn't bottom out any more.
