Starbash yes u can adopt that turtle. You need perfect conditions , can't be too hot or too cold, need good food for the turtles and in hot days put slightly cold water and opposite on cold days. I've had one

I doubt they're waterproof. Honestly, when your #1 priority is to catch an animal, getting wet is really not a concern, especially if it's an aquatic species. Imagine how lame it would be if Coyote said to the cameras "Let's go catch an aquatic snake!... But I'm afraid of getting wet, so... End video."

I'm actually worried for Coyote. When he gets stung or bitten by something that's venomous, I'm just. He may take out the venom, yes, but are you sure that there won't be any long term side effects for always getting bitten or stung, whether venomous or not?

Insects and scorpions have low venom yields, so there isn't as much to flush out of the system, and aren't overly potent (the ones he gets stung by at least). It's not as bad as recurring spider or snake bites, but I'm sure his white blood cells aren't exactly happy. Idk about the long term effects, tho, mostly short term.

Human body is extremely resilient. Getting regular doses of venom actually makes one immune to the venom. It is good in the long term. This practice has been followed in ancient India where royal children were given small doses of poison with their food to make them immune
