We visited The Snake Discovery Center on Sunday 10/10/21. Everything looked amazing. We surprised our 14-year-old son Corbin for his birthday and brought him here. The kids enjoyed the experience and couldn't wait to tell their friends at school all about it. We drove 3 hours just to come and check it out! I have shared pictures with my preschool students and they were really interested and excited to learn more! I have a feeling you will get many more visitors from Northern Minnesota!

Congrats on the opening!! There was just found a zebra spitting viper in my town and we definitely don’t have resources to help him. They may contact you since they’re looking for a zoo to take him! I figured you could place him with a responsible owner or help him, either way! I also sent info through Instagram! Hopefully we find a better situation for him, since he was defanged and abandoned in a dumpster.
@Eloraurora3 жыл бұрын
Boost. Maybe if they can't take him, they could pass him on to the venom lab folks. I remember their poor defanged copperhead, and I don't know if the viper might need specialized vet care.

If not Emily maybe Kevin @ NERD will take him, he's his own veterinarian, and has TONS of experience with abused reptiles. He has a King Cobra that he rescued that had its venom glands removed and he brought him back from the brink of death

I have friends in Minnesota and I will absolutely be insisting we go to this zoo, i don’t care how far we have to drive. You guys are truly inspirational.

Congratulations! I'm going to miss the updates so much! I must confess, I had my doubts that you'd pull it off when Covid hit. But my goodness, your tenacity paid off. What an incredible achievement. You should be so proud

the zoo looks amazing and finally all the hard work that was done has paid off and now everyone can enjoy the zoo and the animals can live in beautiful naturalistic enclosures for the rest of their lives.

Emily your dad and grandpa look so young. So nice for them to help out I’m sure they were overjoyed with you and Ed’s success! Ed’s mother also looks like a fun time. So surreal re watching these videos

Hey Ed and Emily! I've suggested this before, but I don't know if you did it or not. It'd be really great if you included sanitary product wastebaskets in the men's restroom :)

I think they said in the last video they were putting a tampon dispenser in the men’s room

I was just watching old facility update videos when this one came out. It's so weird to see where the zoo started from. I'm so proud of you guys and I cant wait until I'm in a good enough financial position to come here with my family to see everything first hand. I cant wait for more zoo content 😁😁😁
