Hey Gary and Cassie! Next time your 5 gal. buckets stick together, try using the blower nozzle on your air hose from your compressor and blow between the two stuck buckets. I loved the laughter of the boys when they pranked Cassie. I love hearing kids laughing. If I may make a suggestion, do you think that it would be helpful to put small rocks or those glass beads in the little chicks water cups you just made for them? They are kind of big and maybe one could possible get in there and drown before it could get out. Please don't take my suggestion as me trying to tell you what to do or trying to be a a smart aleck, because honestly, I'm not. I love the hatch rate and all 88 still living and especially the little gray dusty colored ones.

Where in New England? I'm from RI. The reason the chicks are drinking so much water, it's the apple cider vinegar, they love the taste. Try putting just regular water in one of your waterers, they won't touch it, if there's acv. Love what your doing Cassie, I just ordered my incubator today, getting excited.

I am not a chicken lady, but I have raised them for over 60 years. I never built a brooder without rounded corners. Even rounding out the corners with card board is a good idea.

Sure wish I could meet up in New England but I no longer live in CT and now live in NEW YORK STATE-------N O T NEW YORK CITY -------- NY State has everything for everyone. The most beautiful state in the Union !! We have Long Island Sound (beach) the Finger Lakes, all water recreation the great lakes that are HUGE, the Adirondack mtns fir hiking ekiing and trails. The thousand islands, the Erie Canal system .lots of AGRICULTURE. MENNONITES AND AMISH, OLD ORDER! AND of course NEW YIRK CITY. ELLIS ISLAND WHERE MY GRANDPARENTS CAME THROUGH TO AMERICA AND THE MOST AMAZING STATUE OF LIBERTY. I UOPE WGEN YOU VIDIT NY STATE I FAN MEET UP WITH YOU ALL.!!!!
