There was a time when I thought Rattlesnakes were so badass that they were unbeatable. But all that changed when I saw a documentary about wildlife in the American desert, and the grand finale of that documentary showed one battling and eventually being killed by a Red-Tailed Hawk. Since then I've seen them get beaten by Red-Tailed Hawks, Common Kingsnakes, and even Roadrunners. Basically, Rattlesnakes require VERY specific stats to defeat them. You have to have either extremely high resiliency to their venom, or you have to move even FASTER than they can.

Quality reaction. Note: Black Mambas aren't close to the highest damage potential of all snakes. That's the Inland Taipan which has venom that is several times more potent. A crime the taipans were excluded from the list tbh. Personally, I think there's an argument for the King Cobra at the top instead of the Black Mamba, but the placement doesn't bother me.

The mamba venom potency is much higher than the king cobra. The mamba is a lot less timid than the Taiwan and is larger and faster and injects a lot more venom per bite..it is the second largest venomous snake. Snakes really don't deserve all the negative stereotypes thrown at them. Yes, many snakes like cobras, mambas and taipans can potentially kill you if not medically treated in time, but they only attack when they feel threatened. Even when I was a little kid, I knew that if I stupidly toyed with a highly venomous snake, it could swiftly strike me with one or more bites and put my life at huge risk.

Snakes are scary mostly because you could be walking outside and all of a sudden what you thought was a stick was actually a snake that you got a bit to close to and it just bit you. The other thing is just the way that they move. Sort of like with spiders, the way the move around is so bizarre to most humans that it sets us on edge. Film makers use that a lot in horror movies, like with a humanoid monster that can walk on all fours upside down and backwards yet swiftly.

If he were taking his ranking seriously, he would have put pythons and king snakes in a teir, for being both a snake capable of eating tigers, and a snake that eats all other snakes. Instead, he chose to put all non viper snakes bellow A teir, just so he could differenetiate the types of snakes for his students. This is to say that you shouldn't diss harder snakes just because they have built up a natural resistance to salamander venom, because it's litteraly just an animal fact, and the build diss language is just an excuse to post this kind of beer animal fact.
