I'm glad you're enjoying the facility updates! I always worry they'll be boring since they don't have many reptiles. To answer a couple questions: 1. We do plan on adding a changing table to the men's bathroom :) I actually just ordered it today (I wasn't even thinking about this video's timing, it just worked out perfectly, haha!) 2. We also plan on having a few benches throughout the zoo for people who need periodic breaks from walking. We just haven't mentioned these yet because we were waiting until they were installed so we could show them in a video. :) But we want the facility to be accessible and comfortable for everyone! :D

I love that you said "surrendered" Reptiles instead of "abandoned ". There are many circumstances in which a person may not be able to care for their reptiles or other pets, often it is a heartbreaking decision. The word abandoned has such a negative vibe, like the animal is no longer loved or cherished. I appreciate little things like this. ❤️

Yes abandoned should be reserved for animals that were for example for reptiles that were left by the owners when they moved and then found by the painter (animalguy1 I think has a story of one of such reptiles on his channel)

Suggestion: put changing tables for in both men and women bathrooms because I have a friend who has a single dad as a parent and she was telling me the other day about how he had a hard time changing her diaper when she was younger because there wasn’t many men’s public restrooms with changing tables in them. I think this would benefit many people and it’s just a suggestion to make someone feel just a little more welcomed in the facility.

Y’all should put individual padlocks on the exo terras as well, to prevent people from unlocking them and potentially stealing an animal. I’ve seen them before in my local reptile shop’s display cages, they make really small ones that fit the cages.

I was taking a photo of my crested gecko and he jumped on my phone but he slipped and got spooked and crawled under the chest of drawers. And guess where I found him! Chilling under the flooring all dusty and cold. He’s now quite big and chonky and doesn’t jump like crazy when he was younger lol.

I have a great idea, you should place the gnome in different places, when you open, around the museum to add a little fun. On days you feel extra creative with the gnomes placement you could even add some sort of prize for the person who finds it first. Like a fun little scavenger hunt each day.

Hey I notice y’all are collecting a lot of different sets of keys, may I recommend a key storage box before things get too out of hand? For example UPS uses a lockbox w hanging tags for mailboxes and I think something along those lines may work for you guys! And as always thanks for A++ content!!

It's amazing how much thought you put into the reptile's enclosures. Everything other pet store or expo I've been to always just throws in a hide, water dish, some repti-carpet and calls it a day! I (and many others) really appreciate it 👍👍

I have a fear of snakes it used to be so bad the word even made me shiver. 4 years ago my boyfriend decided to help me ease into it. With pictures and talking about it. And I got to a point where I felt ok. Then I discovered your channel and the informative format helped me soooo much now I can look at videos and pictures as long as it's not scary movies I think I'll be able to go inside the reptile house in the zoo here.
