Personally I’m not disabled but my father works with a lot of people in wheelchairs, and the first thing I thought of when I saw the ramp was “oh good,they have a ramp for wheelchairs.” And then Emily was like “this we would use to get the enclosures in.” I don’t know why I felt the need to share that but have a good day I guess? 😅

Construction trades may seem easy when watching but it really isn't at times. Also after all this is over and it's safe to travel I plan on taking a trip to see the finished product in person all the way from canada

Legitimate thought: I used to work at a small museum, and the one thing I wish our facility had was a Family Washroom (or any type of separate accessible washrooms). This was a huge issue for families with children, or older/special needs visitors with attendants. We ended up letting people use our office bathroom, which always felt unprofessional. Not sure if its possible in your facility, but wanted to share my leaning!

I believe that they mentioned in a previous update that they tried to do something similar, but the building permits and the required size of the bathrooms just wouldn't work, so they had to go with a standard 2 washroom set up. Maybe if they expand in the future they can do that, but for now I believe it's not very feasible.

Ed "stranding" Emily on top of the box reminded me of the time I came home from my after-school job and my parents weren't home, but there was a ladder out on the deck. I didn't see anybody up on the roof, so I figured someone forgot to put it away before they left and I went ahead and did that, then went down to the basement to watch TV... and stranded my brother, who had been on the far side of the roof (don't remember what he was doing up there with no supervision). And since I was in the basement with the TV on, I couldn't hear him yelling at me... so he was stuck until our parents got home an hour and a half later. Simultaneous "oops sorry bro" and "hahaha that was hilarious!"

I just commented the same thing lol - so weird to be so proud of people you have never met and have no idea you exist lol. Ed and Emily are so amazing and I’m so happy for them. They truly care about their animals and educating the public, and what I admire most is how they highlight the not-so-good stuff such as errors and loss of animals and how those experiences have influenced their animal care. Mentioning no names (ahem!) it’s rare to find breeders whose primary concern isn’t money. These guys deserve all the success in the world

Hi! I just recently got my first snake, around a week and a half ago. He's a ghost stripe cornsnake, and he's the most curious baby I've ever seen. Hes also my emotional support animal. Snake Discovery helped me get over my faint fear of snakes, teaching me about their snakes and how friendly they are. Thank you, Snake Discovery, getting my snake Quetzalcoatl ( The Aztec god of snakes, that's his name ), has saved me from emotional breakdowns and pain. I hope I can meet you in person someday, you don't have any idea how excited I was when I heard you live in my state. Thank you, thank you, I can't say it enough. :)
