Love you Jake. I may be some random fan on the internet, but I hope I get to meet you one day and tell you just how much you helped me overcome my addiction to meth and heroin, overcome the trauma of sexual abuse, and overcome the desire to die cursing God when I awoke. Your story was similar enough to my own that seeing you grow into an old man, with a great sense of humor, smile, and strength showed me that I can do the same. With love. Thank you for everything you do for all of us. Thank you also for sharing with us so much from your personal and wrestling life, and thank you Marcus for your role in getting these stories to us fans and for being a friend to Jake.

Hanson was awesome, he really played the part well, even the other wrestlers bought it.

4:38 You know you are intimidated by Stan Hansen when you wouldn't hit him with a chair assisted by a fan. As a joke, if I worked with two stiff performers like Hansen and JBL in my career, I would get into hard gimmicks as well lol.

Did he just say 12 weeks is like a third of the year ? He did preface it with “listeners it’s simple math” . So it’s basically five eighths of a year? Ok cool I get it now 👍

I don’t know if I believe Jake’s claim that Weigeroff called spots by giving the grip or tapping fingers on his opponent’s hand or arm. Blindness has nothing to do with speaking carney and that tapping stuff could be mistaken for the iggy.

He's legally blind, not legally deaf. Why is he tapping? Just talk.

Legally blind? As opposed to illegally blind?

Legally blind means enough to be considered blind legally, but not totally blind.

But suddenly he could see, now he's breaking the law.
