Good point that in canon Voldemort actually did care less about blood status than you would think. He used blood status to get pure-bloods on his team, but honestly the most important thing to Voldemort was gaining power...by any means necessary. He actually wanted the Potter's to join him, and that's why he was so angry when they defied him. Loving this! I love the idea of Lily trying to be a healer, it gives her character more substance, and makes the most sense.

That's what I always thought too. That his Pureblood mania really was only a means to gain supporters and political power and an army. He probably believed in it to some degree but his real true goal was immortality and being the most powerful and feared wizard in the world.

Marauders was my favourite thing about Harry Potter and we didn't even get to see them properly so this means a lot to me. Lily, and the Marauders are already so perfect, I love how James can be 'arrogant' sometimes but still blames himself when he sees how his arrogance affects not only his life but also his best friend's lives too. I swear I could feel Sirius's desperation and Remus's pain in those moments. I know Remus didn't mean those words but he still had to right to get angry... Oh my gosh. I can't believe how powerful you guys are. You have the power to make us feel all those feelings only with your voices. Wow. Well done, I can't wait to see more of this series. Something about that voice made the sparse hairs on the back of Frank’s neck stand up.” Voldemort’s voice is very similar to what is described in the books, and in my opinion way better than the movies! According to J. K. Rowling Voldemort really wanted to recruit Lily and James (like Hagrid said in the first book), even if Lily was a Muggle-born witch.

For us book readers, it's not blasphemy. Voldemort should be an embodiment of intelligence in the service of destruction. Not a lunatic aiming at a crowd with a machine gun, while laughing hysterically, like the movie version would be in any other flick. This is the voice and tone he should have.

James truly believed that Snape would come after him and Lily one day, and the Marauders. Maybe it was fear, but it was also in part because he wanted to show how powerful he was. I think another part is James hated Snape for calling Lily a Mudblood, the books hint that Snape had called several people this term including Mary McDonald.

Really want to say that I love exploring what a hotheaded ass James was, taunting and bullying Severus for doing nothing, rather than glorifying him. It delves into his character a lot more than the books did, showing off his flaws. While Severus isn’t a perfect person, and ends up being an ass to Harry for no good reason, this shows off more of how his experiences shaped who he would later become in life.

I found this by accident and built my own playlist Each of the now existing five episodes plays in succession. When the film ended I though there would be repercussions with all the dark magic being cast. It a pity Snape hides the countercurse for Septumsempra. Muggle kids often get in trouble right after graduation. Radio (audio) drama is practically a lost art. Television knocked it out. I'm an older guy and I can remember radio drama which was very common when I was a boy. It's. refreshing to here it again.

Snape was just a victim of bullying. I know Gryffindor and Slytherin were enemies for the longest time and were basically bullying each other. But what the James and his friends were doing during Snape's childhood at Hogwarts can drive anyone to hatred for them. James wasn't minding his own business and was being stereotypical of Snape's relationship to Lily.
