My wife was a native Texan, I got there as soon as I could, lol. She turned me on to this show and I have loved it from the first time I saw it. My wife passed away on December 17 2014 and every episode I watch of this it reminds me of Saturday morning with coffee and biscuits watching this show together. Great memories and a great show. Love how this family stayed together and follows their dream. Blessings

Born in '53 and raised in Corpus, my family moved to Markins Drive in'59 and our backyard was against Weber Road. I could hop the fence and walk there in a few minutes. What a great memory. Glad to see it's still there!

What a nice lady and a fabulous story. I love visiting Texas. It reminds me of a lot of my home state of Tennessee so I feel at home there. I wish people were still nice and honest but we live in a different world now. Anyway, loved this video

The negative comments about the hamburger patties are rude and illiterate. Commercial kitchen suppliers can sell you a pattie press in which a ball of fresh hamburger is placed and pressed for uniformity . They leave the same marks and size and thickness on every pattie . I would gladly eat a burger there everyday if it were not half way across Texas from me ... Good show, TCR...

This lawyer said all their hamburgers are fresh made - the shots of the patties on the grill say they were pre-processed, complete with punctures to make them cook faster. Chef Gordon Ramsay would probably say, "F*** me!"
@yongyea41473 жыл бұрын
Can you elaborate?
@stukaman11623 жыл бұрын
@@yongyea4147 Yepper - Go to 1:21 of this video and clasp an eye on the burgers on that grill. Tell me they're not identically shaped by a machine and not identically perforated to cook faster. No "fresh-made" patties formed by human hands look like that, pal. They're frozen, and I repeat: Gordon Ramsay would say, "F*** me!"
