The 3.7 volt capability of the new generation of 'AA' lights is very nice. Awesome output with the stock battery but able to us standard AAs in a pinch. I just HATE side switches on my lights, which is why I prefer the Nitecore MT2A Pro. I just wish it had a moonlight mode like this Thrunite. (There is still no perfect light!) I just purchased on Thrunite Sabre based on your review, so I won't be getting a AA2 light anytime soon.

Thanks. Glad the Saber review helped! Agree on the wide buttons, but if you have a lot of lights they are generally at least straight forward to use.

Can you use that long battery on the 2A V3?

Reminds me of the Wurkkos WK05 - 900 Lm with 2 14500 cells and 600Lm with regular AA’s. But the Wurkkos has a better clip and better location of it and n the body but ya gotta pull the cells out to charge them and that’s sad. I don’t like that - good video as always
