I feel like the song was originally written to have this space feel, where the voice is supposed to vanish a little into the atmosphere, especially in the chorus. In the verse, you can hear the room a lot, which in my impression isn't how this song was written/intended, and it probably was a bit challenging to sing in this context.

For 5 years I've been waiting for this track to be released on video. It's such a weird, awesome, and weirdly awesome track off the album and I wanted so bad to see these cats perform it. And despite years of waiting it still didn't fall short. I love seeing Louis Cole beasting it out, Larnell almost mellowly keeping pace, Lettieri grabbing his chance to shred it out, Cory and Shaun doing their take on headbanging, and (of course) above all, "wait, that's a TRUMPET SOLO?!" Thank you for releasing this!!!
