My Hair had no hold with oil. It just puffed back up as soon as I took the clip off

I think this would be the same for my hair since my hair needed some type of gel to lay in place when I was a loose natural.

Did you sit under the dryer and let it dry completely? Overall the oil method doesn't provide that much of hold, but I feel like I get better results when I make sure it sets properly.
