Fun fact: TTGames screwed up the texture work on Captain Elizabeth (Robes). The texture itself was meant for a skirt piece as opposed to the standard hips and legs.

LEGO Pirates is my favorite LEGO game, though I haven't played it in years. From what I remember, it has the absolute best implimentation of splitscreen: it isn't constantly split, so more screen can be viewed at a time; and if I'm remembering correctly, it never did that annoying thing where even though you're, like, halfway across the other player's screen it's still split for some reason (which happens in literally every other LEGO game with a variable screen split that I remember). And the screen split being the reverse of what one would expect in that one part of the Jungle level with Barbossa was a really neat detail if it was intentional, it really helped sell the "lost in the Jungle" vibe.

It was also just a good game in general: the levels were fun and memorable (many were, at least; it has been a while), and the hub world struck a nice balance between having plenty of interesting things to do and not being excessively big.

Pasting this from the other video. I think this might be my favorite ranking video from you yet because you took a unique spin on it rather than just simply ranking the characters. You went out of your way to talk about certain game mechanics and stuff from the Pirates franchise. While these videos are relatively simple, I appreciate the charm and effort that goes into them and can't wait to see what the spinner lands on next.

Lego POTC is my favourite lego game out of all of them. So here are some brief remarks: 31:56 In the code there also is a Jack with a torch, not sure why they have made him in the first place 32:04 The Extra Toggle allows for many additional characters, BUT there is a LOT, A LOT OF characters that can't be played as even with that red hat (examples include: Quittance, Wheelback, Ogilvey, Old Haddy, Greenbeard, Finnegan, Jelly, Manray, Palifico, Ratlin - from the Davy Jones' crew; Mr Gibbs as Navy and as a sailor; Lord Carteret (the guy who stood near the king), etc.), and it's a shame we can't even test them (I personally liked Jelly because of his unique swordfight style). Though I may be mistaken, correct me if so :) 32:25 There are cursed versions of all pirates from the Barbossa's crew (and also three unnamed cursed pirates). There is a problem with all of these - they somehow cannot walk underwater even though they are half skeleton. (Also Jacoby's cursed version is a bit broken and his hitbox is much bigger than needed, but well who are we to blame) 36:38 I always thought his name was spelled like "ra-JET-ti" 44:52 When playing this game young, I thought he was holding a bunch of bananas haha 51:36 There also is an unplayable Elizabeth in yellow dress (and in a white dress, but I didn't manage to get it to work) 54:28 Because it has its own animations, there is a bug that lets you jump up any wall by jumping and switching characters at the right time :) Also, in story mode the dog can't do many things (like turning the wheels etc.), because it is holding a bone in its mouth lol 54:40 It is seen (and played as) twice after that! Second time - in "Pelegosto" in the last location after Jack's fall, and third time - on Brethren Court, where it helps you locate the Pirate Codex or whatever it's called 1:07:20 OH YES I LOVE WHEN THEY GET DIFFERENT SWORD FIGHT ANIMATIONS OH YEEEEAH 1:21:46 I have never played as that guy so his weapons are a surprise for me haha 1:29:55 I think that giving the torch to just one guy in the game was a bad decision. It makes some parts much easier (e.g. collecting the minikit in Tortuga, etc.), and it's also a very cool addition so you don't need to look for torches if you have the character :) 1:37:29 I had so much fun taking the musket in Tortuga by other characters, that was such a fun experience! (Also there is a guy in the code called Tortuga Boatdealer who also for some unknown reason has the musket) 1:42:18 This "splash damage" ability is one of my most favourite ones, so thanks for acknowledging it as an ability! 1:49:29 There is a model of Syrena that always has the tail instead of legs, and it looks very weird but fun when you walk with it haha 1:54:08 There should be a "Captain" here somewhere :) I remember that in Russian version the main Jack is called "Captain Jack Sparrow" while the groovy jack is just "Jack Sparrow", but it seems as in English they have forgot his Captain status 2:03:52 I can easily remember some levels that don't, but fair point, these things are everywhere 2:04:16 But you CAN hold up the attack button for any ranger, including Blackbeard, so he can also aim :) Thanks for the video. Have you ever modded the game on pc to make a bunch of the unplayable characters playable? I did, and the roster expands a lot more than you would think. Just the Davy jones crew adds like 15 extra characters to the roster.

I’m honestly quite surprised that Giselle and Scarlet were relegated to NPCs and the extra toggle of certain levels. They were recurring characters in the first three films, and part of what I call the “Trio of Duos” (along with Pintel & Ragetti and Murtogg & Mullroy).

The reason why redcoat, classic and undergarments Elizabeth don't have swords is because Elizabeth never swordfight in the movie. She used a bedpan, an Aztec pole and even tried to use a sword but couldn't get it out of the sheath. The actress complained she didn't get to swordfight, and so she got swordfighting opportunities in the later films. That is why the first 3 Elizabeth's don't have a sword.

Here's a note for Lego Batman 2, Lego Harry Potter 5-7, and Lego Lord of the Rings. As far as my knowledge they have console exclusive dlc, but they can be obtained on PC via mods, I recommend looking into how to do so, which SHOULDN'T be too hard if you know what your doing. Good list, was watching it while I'm completing this game myself, I will unfortunately have to reach Lego Movie 2 at some point :(

I would have to disagree that Lego Incredibles is “crap”. It’s got a nice open hub world, big character roster with a lot of the cast reprising their roles and some good levels. Only odd choice is playing the second film before the first. The Ninjago Movie game is also pretty good, although it can be quite glitchy and the substitute voice acting is pretty poor.
