I remember back in 2011 they were talking about Quartzsite dying off because the city was charging for the permits , etc. which made it costly. They were working on moving to another town but guess that didn't work out. Glad the city and the RV sponsors worked it out to keep it in Quartzsite. During the show in 2012 was the first time I have seen a city where 18 wheelers, big rigs, trucks pulling trailers, cars, vans, bikers (both motorcycle and bicycles) and quads were all on the road through town driving together. The sidewalks were full of people walking - we walked from Patty's over to the big tent.

It is still crowded in February but starts to thin out as the month progresses. I avoid Quartzsite in January.

Loved your video. I believe that I read somewhere that the NIRVC Tire Safety seminar will be held in the "Media Tent". Can't find a map of the showgrounds showing the Media Tent. Can you confirm that this is where the seminar will be held as well as a map or directions from the nearest big tent entrance/exit?

Tyson Wash work is a new 8 lane RV dump and water station with a small sewer treatment plant with ponds. Beats the current 2 lane dump and septic tank leach field that has to be pumped a couple of times a season

I've never had a problem over many years with those types of items. There have been occasional reports of unsecured more valuable items taken such as generators and portable solar panels.
