I really love seeing this. The blocks are great (yes, I was an early adopter). The FSE is even better - web design has gone full circle - and we are back to the glory days of Frontpage! But it is Frontpage on steroids, so much easier customization... but I do miss coding in html ha ha 😎

I have wasted hours trying to find a block theme that offers a front page template as shown at 16:55, wordpress support had no idea and tryed to help me build it myself. more hours gone What block themes offer a frontpage template like the one featured with call to action, 3 columns etc?

Hi there, Sorry to hear you had that frustration. The template shown at that point in the video does not represent a specific theme, but was instead used to demonstrate the concept of theme templates. There is not a theme we offer on WordPress.com that has that exact look, but you can consider the following themes, which have a similar homepage layout: - wordpress.com/theme/meraki - wordpress.com/theme/byrne - wordpress.com/theme/payton You also have the option to use the Geologist theme (the theme used for the demo in the webinar) and create a new homepage template: wordpress.com/theme/payton To that template you can add the following blocks which will result in a similar look: wordpress.com/support/templates/#create-a-new-template - Media & Text (image on left, text on right, with a button block added in the text area) - Query Loop block (set to display 3 blog posts in a grid) Hope this helps!

I hated Gutenburg when it first came out. Now I can't stand the classic editor. Then I hated the idea of FSE because I was worried my favorite template would become obsolete. Then I started learning FSE (do we have a choice?). And now I'm working on starting my website over with a new template I'm putting together with FSE. GO figure lol.
