Had 40s for about 24 hours but all seems okay for my veggies. Nice to be able to have all that. May check on greenhouses. Do have mesh and netting to keep deer, rabbits and bugs off some things. Have plastic I can use in a pinch. So have most a huge roll my husband had when restoring and painting cars. Still too heavy to lift. But on disability couldn't go or afford too far out where fewer rules but managed to get far enough from an area going ghetto. Was a nice area too.

40's is pretty common here especially at night. I cover some things as well. But trying to keep my peppers and eggplant in the greenhouse for now.

@@lulishomestead6767 Summer is coming later and later here. Solar minimum I think started earlier than they said. Used to get hot in April now snow a few times. Almost June and furnace on today. Now cookstoves I priced went up too much but needed floors leveled and paint pretty bad. Pretty expensive and did patching and painting myself with asthma. Leaning furniture of Pisa but got a deal for this area. Half of others which I would've ripped out carpet and painted anyway. Now don't ever need to replace flooring like carpet. Not good for asthma. Less maintenance too.

@@lulishomestead6767 Same here. Getting a nice amount for the garden. Direct sow does better with rain than watering. Maybe something in my rain barrels. Haven't checked today.

I just recently came across your site. All that you do is an encouragement to me. I'm doing all I can do from my townhouse and praying for a homestead of my own. I love the way you do everything. Is it possible to purchase that old recipe book you refer to? I am in western Washington state. You have helped me to get organized. Thank you for what you do.

Thank you, I make sure my animals are well taken care of. We have a budget for the animals and some months it's a lot especially in the winter when we have to buy hay. The prices on hay have jumped up drastically in my area. I wonder if its expensive in other parts of the country.
