So if you use the “potent tonic of weakening void” rare version, instead of taking the time to reload you can just switch to lost signal and fire it at the boss which will reload your stowed weapons ready for a quicker dmg rotation

Except that it has an internal cool down (like demolitionist but longer) and AFAIK can't be used non-stop and given that this is a bait & switch weapon...that will not work.

@@SneakyBeaver oh, that’s weird I was using it yesterday and had no problem spamming it against the puppeteer. Rotation wise would be - lost signal, ikelos sniper (your case), heavy gl mag dump, normal reload, mag dump and instead of reloading this time, you swap back to lost signal to start the process again. Maybe that specific roll doesn’t get the full benefit but any heavy with a slow ungodly reload, I recommend this for anyone

It will work you just reload one time with the tonic then gl again, dump second mag then rinse and repeat​@@SneakyBeaver

@@ashleejones7820 Works on Puppeteer because cooldown is on the enemy, not the GL. So you can quickly reload by shooting minibosses until cooldown on the boss is over.

I was scoffing when I saw people raving about this GL. I thought that there was no way this dungeon weapon was gonna out-do even Edge Transit. Then I got one, a frickin' 9/10 godroll, enhanced it, slapped on a mag mod, Concussive Reload, and Kinetic Impacts and melted a boss in Onslaught. I was wrong to think bad about this weapon. I'm sorry, VS Chill Inhibitor, you are truly goated.

I got one with Arsenal and Explosive Light and even though it's far from being able to pump like this, it still feels great, especially for GM/roam stuff where I need to just blow something up on short notice. Gotta get my hands on this monster though, that DPS is bonkers lmao

Just asking in case i missed smth in the video, why didnt you try it with cloudstrike as the main cascade proccer? The 3 shots from it pair perfectly with the rotation

You know your stuff... I got the Chill Inhibitor with Rimestealer (would have preferred EA or CP)+ Bait/Switch. During DPS like to pair it with my Sovereignty sniper with demo+withering gaze and it cooks once the debuff is proced. 🍻

Not sure if you know but you dont have to swap to a precision wep to get headshots. Just killing one ad (when available) with any other weapon besides the cascade point one will ready the perk. Thanks for the video glhf

something like this depends on the boss SCENARIO IMO Ex: If you are doing a witness DPS phase, you could prob use either and be fine however if you are doing a very short damage phase (hypothetically lets say caiatl gave you only one bell) then cascade on chill would be better for sure.

rapid fire frame gls have more dps and total damage than adaptives so yea this is better than edge transit in every possible way. The only reason people weren't using rapid fires before was because there were none with good perks

Minifrag isn't as good on this GL - the magazine can be maxed out with spike and backup mag. Spike adds on 12.5% impact damage increasing total damage by 3.3%. Alloy casing is better on this GL than minifrag, but both are suboptimal compared to spike.
