watching back old sneeg vods with techno has been helping me feel a lot better given the past month or so i've spent avoiding watching anything with techno in it for fear of bursting into tears. something about sneeg's videos always lets me relax and take the time to feel more present and in the moment. i dont know what it is, but it really does help.

Wanted to pop in and comment about DID/OSDD introject at 42:00 for moment. When an alter is formed in a system, they don’t get to choose what that alter will be, the brain decides what the body/mind needs in the moment of trauma and creates what is needed to cope with the event/stress from it. I’m not a system myself so take this with a grain of salt, but that’s what I remember learning from a DID youtuber. Hope all systems out there are doing well btw :]

I am the host of the system (osdd) that asked. I was just clarifying because ik our introjects don't entirely enjoy listening to their sources. But i just wanted to see because ik some people don't like the idea of having alters made after them even if the person cant control it. The only reason why i asked was because our sneegsnag alter wanted to make sure it was safe for him if not he would have chose a different name instead but he really liked wanting to be called sneeg.

Normally I would never comment but this is the only way for me to watch Sneeg. That whole laptop thing (going from timestamp of 14:14) really hit home with me. I've had multiple laptops and the fact that they die so quickly when playing games is just next level pain in a nutshell. My pre-built HP gaming Desktop is something my dad payed over $1,000 for mainly the Tower with keyboard and mouse, the Samsung monitor that takes up a bit of space on my corner desk as well as the speakers. That's not including the over $300 I myself payed for Blue Yeti Microphone (Probably not the best of microphones but I've had a lot of good KZbinrs recommend it and I think its worth the money) and the PlayStation 4 controller I use when playing certain Steam games, and the Webcam that sits on my monitor. SO yeah, have to say I agree with Sneeg on that. Get a Pre-build desktop soon as a person is able and use laptops for school and/or work.

I can vouch for this. I've had about 3 laptops, one of them was a second hand "gaming" branded laptop that was basically dead on arrival. The only one I have left to this day is a HP ProBook from 2013 that still works, although with a dead battery and performance is lacking. With the money I saved however, I built a budget desktop in 2016 with a 1050 TI that lasted me 6 years and now built a new PC with a 6600 XT in a global shortage. Also personally is a bit skeptical with pre-built PCs as I've seen so many people be put off due to poor build quality or part picking. Like pairing a 1060 3gb with an FX 4300, making it perform worse than a 1050 TI and Ryzen 1500x, at almost twice the price. But hey, it had fancy RGB and claimed to be a "gaming" PC.

I will say I agree but I got myself a gaming laptop for the fact that I’m a a college student that moves constantly. I want a computer for me to be able to transport it around with me easily and I’m in dorms so I can’t be having a massive desktop with me to play games. Once I graduate and have my own place and am on a Canadian teachers salary then I will get a gaming desktop

I can vouch for PC Longetivity, I've used the same PC for over 10 years now, had to reset it a couple of times because people downloaded viruses onto it (it was the family computer) and replace a monitor once but that was it, same computer and still works wonderfully. It can handle games really well too

fun fact guys, laptops are only good FOR INBETWEENS when you're saving up for a desktop or waiting for space, be careful what laptop you use. but legit the one I use I found at the side of the road, day after it rained. It's from 2007. and it hecking works. if it does the job, it does the job. for me it doesn't have to do a lot of fancy stuff, just function. so lesson learned, price d e f i n i t e l y does not equal quality. heck i'm shocked this thing runs.

The only things that were expensive were my keyboard, headphones, and mouse. The mouse was only expensive because it was made for smaller hands. The rest was just because I wanted them.

You know what, I'm pretty happy with my LG Gram. It cost way too much because I had it upgraded with extra storage and ram (I don't want to say it out of embarrassment), but being a music guy (dj-ing and music composition stuff) it's a necessity to be able to take a computer anywhere, plug it in, and start playing. I might play a game or something on it every so often, but I'll mainly play games on my Xbox Series X since that's what they're designed for. But other than that I totally agree. If laptops aren't being taken anywhere like how they are meant to, a desktop could be waaaaaay more beneficial and reliable. Really like watching the VODS and streams man, hope things are going nicely.

My college provides the laptops and computers, I personally don't like Mac books but there is Microsoft computers which I prefer and weather it works or not isn't my problem to replace, and If I was supposed to bring in my own laptop for what-ever reason I would just take notes on paper and if it's not an option to do that then i'd ask to go to the library with my mates or i'd suck it up and use the laptops.

In case anyone is looking for a cheap laptop that is good for basic notes and stuff, I had a chromebook for high school and it was great. I beat it up for 4 years, it cost maybe $200 since we rented for $50 from our school each year. It held up fairly well. Would recommend, but not for programs that take lots of RAM or stuff like that

i love the laptop I got as a birthday gift, since I can also use it as a tablet for art (a 2-in-1 that you can flip around to become a tablet), but I absolutely know that I’ll want to invest in a pc set up in the future. It’s already had issues and it’s only been a little over a year of using it. The longevity of PCs are worth it instead of buying new laptops every few years.

I have a 2013 hand-me-down MacBook Pro that I use constantly. The battery life is terrible so it’s always plugged in, it has had so many different thing spilled all over it and I’ve reset it 4 times because its slowed down. But right now I’ve figured out a balance for it and I can run Minecraft at 50 fps and I can stream and not have too many hiccups. That being said, that poor laptop never fucking has its fan off, and I’ve been using for like 5 years and only now have I finally found the right settings for it to run smoothly. I’m saving for a desktop but I travel a lot so I’m hesitant to get one before I settle down.

Ya'll have to buy your own laptops for school? We just get them from the school completely free. From 4th grade all the way up to like 11th grade or more. And afterwards you can buy the laptop for like 50 bucks. And the laptops are great too. I've had mine for almost 3 years now and works like i got it just yesterday. The computers that we use are chromebooks if anyone wants to know. I'ts great for scool and easy to carry around since its so small. Easy to write, bends all the way and has a touch screen too. Dosn't really heat up except if i'ts on some kind of blanket or some sort. I totally recommend it for people that need to buy their own laptop for school or for something else. Some can even be under 200 dollars so it's a great deal if you ask me.

I have an ASUS gaming laptop, and while a better computer sounds nice on paper, there are MANY MANY MANY MANY good reasons for mobility in my position. I already had a chromebook. Again, mobility is a HUGE factor, but after this vod I'm kinda sold on desktops. I mean, I move around ALOT and probably couldn't stand to use it for a full hour, unless playing something like [#######_########], or [other game I might be able to play abit for about an hour.]
