I used to be obsessed with this game as a kid. I actually forgot the name of the game but man, I LOVED it. It had a good OST too.

What I find funny is that the enemies all make the same crowing noise when you hit them.

This is the Wolfchild I remember. The game is kinda hard for me (not really a gamer and all) but I want to get through it (Thank God for save states lol)

The Amiga was a series of home computers made by Commodore from 1985 to 1993. Right from the start they had outstanding graphical and audio specs that even surpassed many arcade machines of the time. Their success was however very limited in the States, but were massively popular throughout Europe. For years they were untouched in terms of hardware and software. Unfortunately, due to the increasing popularity of IBM compatible PCs, Commodore eventually disappeared and took the Amiga with them.

No thanks. I'll stick to this and Altered Beast.

So you start as a human but power up into a wolf that punches fireballs? Sounds more than a little like Altered Beast!
@UltimaKeyMaster Жыл бұрын
Not gonna lie, I think it's actually the same sound effect when you transform in Altered Beast, just a little muffled and cut off.

All this time, I never knew there was a SNES version. Whilst the music is great. I feel the Amiga is the better version.

As someone who doesn't care for the Amiga andit's games, I never much cared for games ported from it to the SNES nor the Genesis. The only PC game series that I happen to like ported to either console, Turrican, and that's because that series kicks ass.

As much as i like the Amiga, when Amiga games were ported to the mega drive and snes they seemed considerably less impressive. Whether it was lackluster ports or not this game kind of proves that despite their own merits; Amiga games were just not as polished as most stuff on their 16 bit console counterparts...

Mega turrican has a word with you.

Most of them were obviously designed around the comparatively graphically (at least where it pertains to video-games) limited Amiga, so they're not going to stack up against games like Sonic 3 etc. with many layers of fast scrolling etc., especially if they're quickly ported over without any additions to take advantage of the hardware.
