Fun fact: You could do some weird things with the robot masters and certain weapons. Shooting Spring Man with Thunder Bolt would make him highly magnetic, forcing you towards him for a while. Shooting Freeze Man with his own weapon would make him recover his entire life bar.

One of the best MM games in the series and such a breath of fresh air. This is the game Mega Man 3 should've been. 3, 4, 5, and 6 were kind of rehashes of MM2. For once Megaman actually talks (even more than Dr. Wily) and he's got an attitude! "You better tell me who you are." "I'm more than a robot! Die Wily!" Seeing Roll and Dr. Light talk? Almost never happened in the previous games. The introduction of Bass and Treble was an excellent idea. The 4 robot concept with a mid stage and 4 more was also smart. All the robot masters look unique and have style. Their weaknesses show when used on them. The music is excellent. The ending is one of the best. This game is sorely underrated.

Eddie Ramirez Fully Agreed! I just beat Mega Man 7 Today! Christ! I have died on this fight before, but now I finally managed to do it! It had me using 4 E-Tanks (minus the 1 Special Tank, cause I was dodgin' and intentionally getting hit by one of the attacks). Now I can say that I've beaten Mega Man 7, completely legit, with proper SNES controls, no use of save states (which is cheating in my book).

Man, I was shakin'.. Thank god, I didn't use one E-Tank before that on some of the Robot Masters. The problem is that.. Wild Coil (which you must use when charged) doesn't (and even now) always reach the Wily capsule. And if you don't dodge some of the attacks (like especially the Fire), you will prevent yourself from defeating him. Caught fire ONLY like 3-4 times. EVEN then, it made me use 5 Life f*cking LIFE BARS!! That's my Health being full when I defeated the first form (like 90% full) + 4 more E-Tanks for the 2nd form (Capsule). Can you imagine?! The insanity that is this fight. I'm completely speechless!
