SNES Rainbow Road Hits Different

Mario Kart 7’s version remains my favorite from both a visual and musical standpoint. The version in 8 is definitely easier due to the wider road, but I don’t understand why it’s not set in space. The simplistic Space background 7 has just fits so much better than a rainbow New Super Mario Bros landscape.

The original Rainbow Road will always be the best Rainbow Road out of all the games. The original, the hardest, the classic, the best. Mario Kart 7's remix at the end was fabulous.
