Love the detail you go into while working. Watched all your older videos. Saved my Snes a year ago because of your videos.

This isn't boring at all. You are bringing back to life the best console on the planet!! Said it before, you are doing God's work! Subbed!! Actually learning alot!!

Back in the game! What I love about your videos is that every single one teaches something new. I have two faulty consoles, where one would show video in rolling black and white mode, I swapped the cpus around and I get black screen on both. Swapped them back and black screen again. Looks like I should desolder and re-do both. Thanks!

@@thesecretofmana I’ve had a rolling black and white before, I had to swap the caps and then I swapped the Trimmer Capacitor (red potentiometer labeled TC1).

not sure if you've figured it out yet, I just used to lubricant to help remove stuck parts. maybe some wd40, but I used tri flow in my instance. Had that exact issue on a 1chip board, oddly enough, the thing worked after replacing the power port, VR, reset button and front panel connector port.

I would have still cleaned the donar boer board just to fire it up and run the test cart. It's unlikely, but if it did manage to work, you would have a better idea which chips were good
@PunkNDisorderlyGamer4 ай бұрын
@@justinlira1841 in the cartridge connector it was super sticky and I couldn’t get it to come off I didn’t want to risk ruining a game cart. If I did let it sit in some cleaning solution perhaps it would’ve dissolved the soda, but I’m almost positive it wouldn’t have booted the cart anyway. Sometimes a bad cpu won’t even boot the test cart.
