Snetterton circuit guide | Ginetta G56 GTA 🙂

This time out I break down a hot lap of the Snetterton 300 circuit. This former airfield was used by the US Army and RAF during World War 2 before being abandoned in 1948. It was re-opened as a motorsport venue in in 1953, and extensively modernised in 2011.
There are 3 circuit layouts at Snetterton; the 100, 200 and 300. The 300 is quite a tricky, technical track to master, and the one I'll be tackling today. It also features two of the longest straights in the UK and is therefore one of the fastest circuits in use.
Snetterton is also a well used test track and has been used in the development of a wide variety of cars from the Williams F1-designed Formula Two car to the Bentley Speed 8, and the Nissan Deltawing and ZEOD cars.

Good points. I think inserts of a track map highlighting each section being discussed would really help people to visualise and memorise the track a little easier. Another great vid!

Thank you for taking the time to do this... Very good and explicit video. I've been around Snetterton in my MK and I am getting ready for a new season in a fwd car... Was wondering if you can let me know what the spec of the car : weight,suspension, power etc 👌🏼

the G56 GTA is 1100kg, 270bhp, suspension doubel wishbone all round which 6 speed robitised manual sequential form Quaife.
