Sniffing Amouage Honour 43, Bracken Woman, Figment Woman & Dia Woman for the first time

I know this is an older video but just dropping by to let you know that, despite you not knowing what bracken fern is, your review of Bracken Woman helped my decision to blind buy a nearly full bottle I saw for sale. This, and the written review by theblacknarcissus who, funnily enough, likened the first blast to green toilet duck and wasn't wrong. 😂 Bracken fern holds a very particular memory for me, laying my fathers funeral flowers on the waterfall in the woods my dad loved so much, a place called Fairy Glen. 🧚‍♂️ I love it, and it wont make me sad due to the association. In fact, after climbing down an embankment to lay the flowers I dug up a bracken fern, brought it home and potted it (goes mental and quickly becomes invasive if let loose, which is why it reminds me so much of that place as it'scovered in it). 😊 A good source about bracken is Woodland Trust UK website.

Hi Ramsey. Today, I've been enjoying my sample of Amouage Figment Woman. I think it's a good white floral fragrance. I think it's similar to Maison Violet "Compliment". I'm not sure, but I think "Compliment" might be the stronger one between the two. If you haven't tried it yet, I recommend it, along with Maison Violet "Tanagra", "Un Air d'Apogee", "Nuee Bleue", and "Sketch" (my five favorites from them).

That Maison Violet is a brand I have never smelled before ... but I do have a sample of compliment so I will do a video on it soon 🙏🙏🙏

My colleague's signature scent is the long discontinued Climat by Lancome, Dia Woman is to her nose the closest modern version.

Honor 43 changes notes to have more of the base show up a good hour later and that’s when it gets interesting against the white floral. The first hour reminded me of the white floral scent from Jean Patous Joy and that can be a lot for someone who doesn’t already really really love white flowers. I actually bought a bottle online after passing on it at the store because the dry down was haunting me every time I moved my hand on the steering wheel.

Bracken Woman perfumers are Karine Vinchon-Spehner & Dorothee Piot. Bracken is a UK term for FERN; it may even be a type of fern for all I know! Love this stream where you mad sniff four scents at once! Maybe one day when one is going on I can get in on the fun!! smell swell & be well! xox

@@RamseytheRam They got a lot of bangers! I can't say for sure on their quality of ingredients, I think that would require an expert. But I heard they won an award for most perfumes sold ever. They also sell pure oud oils and mixed oils. Please ,an do your self a favor and check them out. They're the only mid eastern house that makes modern styled perfumes that aren't exesively sweet. Start with something I tried from them the first time. its called "Woody" lol

Just put my nose on Eau d'Amouage. I generally love traditionally feminine fragrances, but this is too much even for me. Plus it didn’t really move me. Defo not right up my (and probably your) alley 😂

2:26:32 I hear this a lot from YT reviews from men and sadly also women calling various perfumes “old lady smell” and making awful faces. Why the hate for older women? My grandma is rockstar awesome. There are plenty of bad things to say and gross faces to make about young and old male hookup tryhards with loud perfumes and maybe the “old ladies” are finally doing whatever the hell they like instead of for others.

Hello Ram, relaxing at home watching this video of yours. I stopped at the part where you say you no longer trust ROJA or amouage among others… we have a difficult time. I have a ROJA set for women with many different ones. I already told you once... and the originality of Roja disappeared... nothing new says anything to me!! empty, good ingredients? I don't doubt it but his style is going towards the generic path... nothing special..

My husband give me Honor 43 for my birthday and I am so honor and happiness for my is a stunning perfum, creamy white flowers with the stem is make to perfection. I live pretty close to Puerto Vallarta, so have a stunning flower perfum creamy and fresh us the👑👑 This one really impressed my 🤍
