Yeah, exactly the same way I do it, except I go a different way, take about 6 hours, get spotted several times, get shot several times, go in all guns blazing and leave no one alive. All in Cadet mode. Like I say, exactly the same.

After doing platinum on Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, I made the 'mistake' to pick this game up again to get all achievements. Needless to say, that after the first dozen attempts to do San Celini on A+ I quickly regretted that decision. However, watching these guides has helped me a TON to actually do it - also in 18 minutes... plus minus 53 (not counting the failed tries). :P You may or may not be the reason for some frustration in the coming week - thank you! :) PS: If I'd have to hear 'The only way is up' only ONE more time I'd have cried like a baby. :P

Man it must have taken you days upon days to learn how to line up a shot on this difficulty, I could barely hit someone 100m away but you hit someone way further XD

Meanwhile, my partner and I have concluded that open firefights with good vantage points, escape routes and traps are the easiest way to beat Authentic Plus. Least resistance if everyone is dead. Still, is fun to see the stealthy way.

I hate and love this game! I got used to a pattern of the AI while playing with springfield + aim, but once I changed the weapon... sweet baby jesus! I play on authentic mode

I just cannot get used to the aim adjustment. I cannot hit that first guy must have tried 50 times

Put it on Sniper Elite difficulty and do the shot again. Try to remember where the red diamond is. Also you dont have to follow this walkthrough 100%. Use it as a rough guide. Maybe find somewhere else to take the shot from.

What's the best rifle for long range in authentic? Mosin or Colcano?

I'd think it's the Springfield due to the higher muzzle velocity, which equals less wind compensation.

@@KillianDefaoite On Authentic and A+ it doesn't, because all upgrade bonuses are turned off.

@@KillianDefaoite Nope. The Springfield has the highest BASE muzzle velocity - which is important, because on Authentic and A+ there are NO BONUSES applied. If you are playing on Sniper Elite difficulty or lower, the Mosin can be upgraded to have a higher MV, but that doesn't apply on Authentic or A+.
