Nice! Very beautiful stones! Now let's get back on the gold because nothing in that river is prettier than the yellowstone. Lol when I go up to dig in the mountains I dredge or sluice. When I dig I dig into a half 55 gal. Plastic barrel cut in half the long way with a rope weaved thru to pull it with over to my box. I usually run 7 to 10 half barrels thru my box each day. Would love to see you pick a good spot to dig and run a sluice out there. Thanks for the videos and good luck to you Levi! Joe gold

Awesome bro! Never thought that would work but actually does, and some amazing results! I think there might be a spot that would be really good for gemstones here in NZ, its got an incredible mix of geolgy and when gold prospecting has about 9 different colours and types of blacksand ranging from brown-black-silver and an insane amount of red garnets of different sizes and some very almost gem like looking material, just not sure if it has any actual good gems as I am currently pretty useless at reconizging them. Keep up the great content!

Gold prospecting is very therapeutic for me specially when striking a good nugget size. But gem hunting is somehow frustrating at some point as getting a gem quality stone is hard, I would usually find minute or a lot with inclusions on it. Sometimes, I end up catching crabs instead 😂

That spinel looks very similar to the water tumbled obsidian that I find. I find plenty of agate too, but none of those pretty blue sapphires though. Great vid Levi! 👍🙂

i make a lot more on agates, jade and sapphires than i ever have on gold, i've found a few nice benches but nothing earth shattering. my favorite place to look is where they're dredging, they don't give a hoot about a 500 dollar hunk of jade, they pass it right up, its just a green rock to them

Hi Levi: This has to be a nice check in the win column, material from the cracks alone for one. Question: At approx 12:09, how much sapphire would you deem cuttable? 10%? 15%? +? -? And can all the remainder be sellable if lapped?

You have to try under the rocks. Thats where mostly good gem gravels are deposits. ( its mixed with clay and round stones. You have to take out that clay out , then wash it trough ur gem washing strainer. On than u'l find bigger sapphires for sure. 👌💎) good luck

Looks like it worked very well I’m wondering if you would do better at night with a uv light if sapphires Flores and if you can find a bright enough uv light not that you need to do better lol you did pretty well I’d say might need a bigger snuffer tube though for the big patches. Great video and day with the family even though they got rained out (except the hardcore one that stayed with you 💪🏻💪🏻. Thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻

@ 8:01 is that an elver(baby eel) or something nasty. Here in Maine elvers are/can be big money. Sold to China for farming. One year was enough for me though guns and drugs paralleled, stayed diving for urchins instead.
