Snippets from My Desk: Romance on Audio is Nope, Inking Three Pens. Lamy * Waterman * Gravitas

The verdict after my two romance trial run on audio is: nope. I cannot listen to some open-door stuff while standing across from my coworker, packing yarn orders. That's just a big fat nope from me. I have split this video into two parts because I just needed to talk a lot and do so many things. This first part is all about my three pens for the upcoming week. And a tiny San Francisco Pen Show shopping list.

I have not read them yet. I'll put the first one on my TBR. And I am drawing a complete blank as to what cozy mystery series I like. I haven't read any lately, I don't think.

I think so too! It's definitely an ink, I wouldn't have looked at twice if it wasn't for the mystery ink and suddenly owning a bottle.

DON'T BURN THE BOOK! Those splotches give it character. Just think, in years to come you can look back through the book and those splotches will bring back fond memories. I'm interested to see your shopping and To Do lists for the San Francisco Pen Show.

I’m still debating getting the Earl Grey Tea Benu Euphoria for myself as a gift for getting through this show. It’s not over yet but my friends are coming in a few weeks to drop off their daughter at school so I would send it to their place in Michigan and have them bring it to me to avoid customs and shipping costs to Canada. Don’t know why I’m hesitating.

I’m loving the raspberry rose. And your Carene looks beautiful. I hadn’t seen the blue one in a video before. To me it looks like the flossing helped as the writing looks darker. And you just can’t go wrong with Gentle Green. I’ve had it in my Estie for over a month now. I’m so glad Nicki sent me a sample too😊 I agree that firmer nibs suit small writing really well. That is one of the appeals of a 3776 to me. Now I know it can be inked for a decent length of time and still write!

Yes, I learn more and more that all nibs and sizes have specific benefits and it's great to have a broad range to choose from.

I really should have inked up gentle green this month! I forgot I had that sample. I have no idea where the ink droplets came from if not the ceiling.
