Personally, I think this DECONFIRMS a CVS collection more than anything. Cuz if they made a CVS collection, then this and the NGPC game would've definitely been in it instead of being rereleased separately. Yeah, I know this and the NGPC game are technically "SVC" and not "CVS", but it'd still be weird to make a CVS collection and not include the SVC half, despite the fact that the SVC games were made by SNK and the CVS games were made by Capcom. I just can't see Capcom releasing a new installment in the "Fighting Collection" series with only two games.

I love Capcom versus SNK match of the milennium and played it religiously on my dreamcast as a teen, and later CVS2, but SVC chaos is still am epic game and deserves to be remembered and revived, so super chuffed it is. Plus that lovely lovely old school SNK pixel style is just tops. Also another hurrah for us to finally get CVS3, also all you hardcore CVS gamers, give SVC another go; SNK fighters are every bit as good even if they don't feel like a hallmark Capcom fighter like SF3 or CVS2.

i remember my best friend finding a cab of this on this place on 8th St (now called James M Wood) and we walked about 45 minutes to go play it for the first time. we loved it so much, it was different playing with SF characters who could do the C+D knockdown. hes a big Ken fan so Violent Ken was all him. him specifically was always adamant that it was a great game that people were underrating, and time proved him right. its a wonderful fighting game and the end of an era really, you can argue with the wall all you want but from Alpha 2 to KOF 2003 that was the best time for fighting games

CvS3 would take some elbow grease and incredible balancing to make. Capcom would likely need to decide, set and create new models for the SNK characters that they will put to the roster. They would have to consider the overall fighting system(s) that they would use as well. I am very excited and wary of what could potentially end up in CvS3 if it ever is being planned.

SVC Chaos was so unpolished and drab and looked terrible it failed cuz it wasn’t as energetic as the Capcom. Capcom really put love into and money into their versions
