Should clarify that last Ryu combo requires the player to be on half health (red meter) for the Exceed combo ender to work.

A Capcom vs SNK game being remastered & re-released plus SNK's most legendary & beloved character Terry Bogard showing up in Street Fighter 6 totally hints that we are going to get a brand new Capcom vs SNK game in the near future same as Capcom's upcoming Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Game Collection hints at the renewed possibility of Marvel vs Capcom 4 becoming a reality as well.

Would've been even more awesome if it was Terry challenging Ryu instead of wannabe kyo. Everyone knows that Terry is the true face of SNK but for whatever reason SNK keeps trying in vain to push kyo even though it's Terry who other major fighting game franchises like Smash Bros & Street Fighter request to use in their games.

@charliewaffle4928 Terry became a legendary character long before Smash. He's been in over 80 games since 1991, headlined his own popular trilogy of anime films, has one of the most iconic looks in gaming period, right up there with the likes of Ryu & Jin as one of the fighting game genre's defining faces plus Terry has way more in common with Ryu than kyo does: Both Terry & Ryu are duffle bag-carrying wanderers who travel all over the world seeking stronger more powerful rivals in order to perfect their respective Martial Arts skills all while being relentlessly pursued by very powerful obsessed villains. Terry also adopts & mentors Rock Howard who represents the next generation of SNK characters. Rock being the son of Terry's most hated nemesis, Terry could've just left Rock to fend for himself but instead he became a father-figure to Rock. One of countless reasons why Terry is such a globally-beloved character. kyo on the other hand just comes off as a generic assembly line-esque anime character who doesn't really stand out as a character because he has little to no real personality. He does have a cool fighting style but that's it. kyo has no real charm or charisma, not much story besides his rivalry with Iori and Rugal brainwashing Kyo's dad, very basic anime look, his one & only non-game appearance was in a forgettable badly-made Direct to DVD KOF movie being portrayed by an actor who's not even Asian & that's it. kyo never really stands out like Terry always does. You ask anyone out there who their favorite SNK character is or who the most famous SNK character is, 9 outta 10 times the answer will be Terry Bogard and it's because Terry is such a legendary character overall & is the most synonymous with SNK that he was chosen to appear in both Smash & Street Fighter and even became a guest character in the cult popular game Fighting Layer which was a spiritual successor to the Street Fighter EX games from the same developers. Terry is indeed the true face of SNK & Ryu's true crossover counterpart.

SNK has been re-releasing all of their fighting games and I'm so happy they released this one. They have come out with all of their King of Fighters games mostly just missing the last few, they've come out with Fatal Fury, Garou, Samurai Showdown, KOF, and now this crossover and KOF13. This very much needed a re-release. There was no other way to play it since in the USA it only came out on the original xbox and that's it. Many of us seriously wanted and begged for this and now thankfully we got it! If your a fighting game fan or an SNK fan this is for us. Besides if SNK is releasing all their fighters this one was on that list. Now we just need capcom to release their version which is Capcom VS SNK 1 & 2.

In Japan, yes. The west only got this on the Xbox (and technically the Neo Geo AES) since Sony had a policy against 2D games back in the PS2 days.
