I never thought to look for a spool removal tool, and I don't know why. This is is going to be sooo good with the Ultimate enclosure. I always find something useful in your vids. Keep up the good work. 20k is just around the corner.

Great list as usual Jet, nicely done! I'm definitely printing a few of those spool removal tools. There's another version of the giant nozzle wall decoration that has the text light up when used with the govee light strip instead of just form the nozzle out. Catch you on the next one!

I often have the problem, that filament gets cracked in the tube as well. But on my A1 mini these tubes are so easy to remove without any tool. I am just pressing down the black connection ring around the opening and then I can easily pull out the tube. Nice Vid btw! 💪

If you are going to do a part 2 i would include one of those AMS splitters so you can use an external spool

Bruh you read into my soul with that "You got a 3D printer to print those little movable snakes & dragons right." 😂😂 Yes I love dragons and that's one reason why I'm getting the X1C when it gets shipped to me next month. February is gonna be awesome my X1C comes and my collector's edition of Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii ships to me as well. I am thinking of getting the A1 for my 11 year old cousin as a Christmas gift later this year.

Hi Jet L, I have been following for a short while and enjoy your videos :) I am getting into the 3D printing world and waiting for my Bambu X1 Carbon to be delivered as I ordered it just after XMAS but won't be here till mid Feb. But my question for you is I also live in Phoenix (Westside) and I am wondering what filament I should use to make these awesome prints you suggest. I am looking at the Bambu Basic PLA but I have also been looking at Sunlu PLA, PLA+ and PLA+ 2.0 but not sure what I should get before my printer arrives. Any help would be great or maybe a video idea for you to help everyone out :) I am very nervous about using other filaments not Bambu because of the codes on the spools is it hard to let say use Sunlu instead and how hard is it to setup on the printer? Keep up the awesome content and I look forward to hearing back from you and seeing new videos. Thanks.

Hey man just Wana say w story, there is no need to be nervous though. And if you really Wana take the safe route then just stick with bambu lab filament. It's really easy to use. But before coming to a decision await Jet L's response.❤❤

Recent A1 mini acquirer here. Thought not my first printer. FWIW, you should be fine with Sunlu as a cheap workhorse filament. There are a lot of great KZbin videos out there that do systematic testing of cheap filaments, but I'll offer my 2 cents. For most things you want to do in general, Sunlu should get you there. It's even running fine on my AMS little, although one spool had a tangle in it that I had to dislodge and caused the print to pause. As a bonus, Sunlu Meta PLA is a really robust, less brittle blend that you might enjoy for functional prints over standard PLAs. But my biggest tip is don't be afraid to do a little bit of reading and experiment. The only things I would exercise a bit of caution around are additives like carbon and glass fiber (probably not great to handle with skin, or to breathe in particles from sanding), and unless you're using a hardnered steel nozzle the abrasive solid bits will grind out the nozzle. Or printing TPU on a PEI bed which I've seen can rip the bed up when it won't release. And then obviously any of the polymers with nasty fumes like ABS or fancier industrial polymers you should be ok in your X1 carbon with with a working carbon filter (obviously enclosure closed). I hope you have so much fun with your unit when it arrives! There is so much great info all over KZbin and I hope you have fun going down many rabbit holes.

Question concerning AMS Lite. How to determine which spool prints each layer of a model. Is there a method to assign a particular spool, with filament loaded, to a base? Example: I am trying to print inverted numbers for my AMS. In doing so, have orange for the base with gray numbers. I want to switch the base to gray with orange numbers. I am using spool number 2 and 4. Thanks for any suggestions. Richard

@jet_lea sorry! I just see that as incredibly wasteful and pointless. I don't understand it. I got right to printing useful things. I just disagree with recommending a benchy.
@adamarzo559Күн бұрын
@@graphicbrad Kinda agree with you, I think I've printed maybe 5 in my 8 years of printing. I think this is reinforced even more so if you have a Bambu. They come calibrated as is, you don't need to calibrate squat. I still haven't calibrated my flow rate even though people claim you should, only 1 printer seems to be out a bit and I still am not going to bother calibrating it because it works, just has tighter tolerances. In saying that, nobody and I mean nobody, should be printing a benchy given the recent drama. Don't support people/companies that are doing this within the space. They need to be shown to the graveyard.
