@@sspectre8217 same i enjoy it a lot, i would say a nice rework that would keep it strong but less broken, would be to make it 3 mana but only updraft the 2 leftmost card and only draw 1 on play, but it could be even better in some deck, so maybe it's still draw 1 more every turn, but cost 4 instead of 3, in any case, limiting the number of card you can updraft is probably the best way to go.

maybe if TF played one of his skills per card you played this round on attack it would be balanced? that way he can't just sit in the backrow and passively generate a ton of value while leveled, but you can increase his stats, reduce his cost, make his level up easier...

They can't rotate Jayce since he is the only healthy control-style champ, I would argue, they ever released. Darkness is just too inflexible, Hiem is just about that 1 dumb elusive turret, Karma is do nothing then be op, etc. Control done well is interactive and fun. As someone who came from playing blue decks in MtG, he is the only champ I feel has the playstyle that attracted me to the blue color in MtG. He rewards control players for playing the game, then levels up, making what you want to do more awesome. He rewards players who can manage their mana and evaluate the board, knowing when to get the most out of high-value spells.

The only argument against jayce is that he prevents balanced 6 cost spells from being printed in most regions since it may be op doubled. If they rotate him I think they'd need to release something to fill the role he plays in deck building tho

Something I'd find interesting would be "basic" cards that can be put into any deck and that just give you access to cards that aren't specific archetypes. Make it "Vastayan" cards perhaps since Vastaya can be found in all regions? I think that could be quite interesting, even if the cards themselves wouldn't be too good on their own. Perhaps a 1-Mana 1/1 without keywords or effects or a spell that reveals a card of the opponent's choice or something. Another thing I'd love to see would be traps? Nidalee's package leans into that and I'd love to see Fiddle maybe have a trap archetype of sorts :)

For me, Tahm Kench is one of the least problematic champions in the game because his design is very contradictory and most of the decks he can be played in aren’t exactly the greatest unless you’re playing in hope that you never run into Noxus. Tahm also brings a unique archetype in the game with capture which is a very underrated form of removal in the game so I hope they build onto it.

It’s not even Soraka. It’s mostly Star Springs. Cause yeah it’s nice to get a heal, but that’s it. Capture and Frostbite are the only other things he can play in unless you go for just making him a huge stat block.

Was Tham ever meta? his deck is very restrictive and predictable. "If you dont have an answer for him, you're dead" kinda applies to every situation in the game. So I dont see him be problematic.

The difference between Yi+Glaive and Akshan+Glaive is that for the former, you have to pair up Ionia and Shurima, so it's a very specific regiom-combo and you can balance around that. Meanwhile, Akshan+Glaive is just Shurima and you can pair it with any other deck and create lots of problematic concepts. So I don't quite see the comparison. Both are strong but Glaive does so much more for Akshan than for Yi, and it makes Yi arguably weaker since you don't hit Flow as often.

Love your content, I agree with most stuff except Jayce, he is such a perfectly designed champion and I think the real issue is Heimerdinger, his free turrets are super toxic especially the 6 mana elusive, and Jayce is healthy outside that deck.

I'm sure most old players really think that the rotation system is disappointing because there are champions that will be deleted forever and can't be used in standard rank, while we don't know when we will open eternal rank, if they don't open the eternal game every season this game will probably die in the rank system, and I remind for you im now just focus on PoC because is free

In my opinion, the rotation system in Lor will one day bore players because the champions they like may not be able to be ranked with their skins. and the standard mode will also probably become eternal because the cards are increasing and if all the cards are rotated it will definitely make the player annoyed and less fun for the player and close the eternal mode rank too, it's very strange and boring to play with cards that we can't choose at will. Free players in Lor now have slightly reduced rewards in the regular pass, we also get 1 skin card and now it's gone, that's one of the less fun things, to be honest, I mostly play Lor only Path of Champions because there are lots of exciting and interesting combos,

But I'm sure that with the latest rotation, they wanted to keep heavy removals in check to allow deck engines to find play (see Flock). And it seems like they did well. Then, they mentioned wanting to develop Shadow Isles around the mechanic of killing your own units rather than focusing on removals on the opponent's units (see hate spike over vile feast), which, however, are already plentiful in this region

I don’t get why Tahm should absolutely stay rotated for the reasons stated I understand his deck with star spring is an issue and I could also understand his gameplay has no place in BW But that’s what a meta is, if a deck/card is good you just learn to play around it…landmarks were an issue because removal was limited for those but TK is just a unit without spellshied who would get absolutely stomped by every form of removal And even then, killing him often means you get your units back which is awful so idk

I think the champions that fundamentally change the region's playstyle are something that *should* be in standard. Also shurima's landmark package was the best and it sucks that both Targon and it are shitty aggressive regions.

That 3 mana card from shurima endless devout was excalty what landmark decks needed malphite/taliyah was actually playable with it
