I'm glad LoR is getting more exposure from Riot. I do hope future sets will actually get cinematic trailers like we got at the start. I mean if you look at MTG Arena it's getting very cool trailers for its new sets which I find really cool.

Yes please. Super excited for Lor's future. I wonder how much of their awesome balance philosophies, community responsiveness, and artistic direction will rub off on league. I've always told myself that I know I would enjoy league more if the immersion in art, characters, and voice were there like LOR.

I think this is a huge step, and really I think it totally should've come sooner. I do get what you're saying about how you need to work with other departments because riot is such a big company but I think those conversations should've happened before the game even released, or at least in 2020. it feels like they never let this game spread its wings and it didn't really have a path to succeed. I'm a huge fan of this game, and I wouldn't even know it existed if my friend didn't tell me about it three years ago. This game is amazing and DESERVES that path to success.

I am sure that they wanted to do things like this way before they even launched the game. The biggest problem was resources and how Riot’s management has prioritized and handled development of things. They have different priorities and want to focus on different things plus they had a restricted workforce due to covid too. Even now, with Riot giving League of Legends their “biggest budget ever” we are going to start seeing the effects now because resources have been scarce and focused in all sorts of other parts of the company.

This is actually big especially for Lore enthusiast people. They'll for sure swarm LoR to get more info about either their Favourite Champ's Lore, or just everyone's Lore. and they'll sure comeback for every expansion just to dig more lore (I am Lore enthusiast).

Well, altought is cool that we are having more players into the game. It sucks that the shadownerf on wildcards/upgrades rewards that we had this year made the game kinda pay to win, since is hard nowadays to get wildcards. The game is really not beginners friendly right now, we already have a lot of different mechanics, it's hard to learn everything. And with these wildcards nerf... Really cant imagine new players coming

ngl i was always mad how TFT was introduced in the client and also how much its present in literally everywhere in the damn client, even on daily quests and how much they push it in your face and even on the basic league profile even tho it has nothing to do with LoL, they are just different games but for some reason even your TFT rank shows up which makes no sense to me, yet runeterra was left in the dust for the most part.

that's wrong, it wont get you to the client, it will get you into the game, because when you're connected in either lol or lor and open the other, it skip the client part and automaticly connect you to the game

its not a trash game. card games are just not as popular. it was fun to collect yugioh cards as a kid, but that hype is long gone. playing a card game on pc just isnt a good idea. you lose the fun of collecting and holding the cards in your hands... swapping cards with friends, shuffling the deck on your own now it doesnt even feel like i am building my own deck, because technically everybody can have the same cards. back when i was collecting yugioh as a kid, i had to build a deck with what i got. it was obvious that the game won't be as popular as tft for example. tft is basically the better version. you still get a small feeling of "building my own board", but without memorizing thousand cards. and every 4 months it gets more or less new units. and the rng doesnt feel too bad in comparison. but all that doesnt mean that its a bad game...i had fun while playing it the first few months. and the system wasnt confusing at all. rather the opposite. the tutorial explains everything well.
