Capture is such a good mechanic, and I _cannot wait_ for them to continue to expand it. I would _almost_ bet money that the Sylas expansion is going to include the capacity to capture spells off the stack and return them to the player's hand when the capturing card leaves play. I can very clearly see "Detain" being changed to allow that. It's the right amount of mana, and it already shares a name w/ one of Sylas's spells.

About rotation, maybe it's just me but I can't really understand the problem with rotated cards. They're still in eternal mode so it's not like you can't play them at all. Or is it about the problem that more cards mean more counters or something?

The more cards there are, the more busted combos will inevitably end up happening, which makes metas either stupid fast and aggressive, or stupid slow control oriented, and it tends to optimise the fun out of the game.

The problem with runeterra is the decks that are currently popular are just unfun curve. From warden decks with 8 mana f u I win, too heimer Joyce, too lurk , too wildfire burn. Decks that are fun, aram , poro king, dragons, seraphine bar controll, Nora, Rita needs to either buff the fun decks or start nursing the boring curve decks

The main problem with Runeterra, is (im tempted to say was because the last expansion kinda went away from that) that it barely offered different viable playstyle. Almost all good decks are midrange and it’s been like that since forever. Even the champion design reflect that, where most of them offer some kind of way to finish the game with overwhelm when they level up.

Fun is subjective, I can assure you if the current meta and bad decks were reversed, there'd be someone making the same comment as you, saying how unfun Poros, dragons and such are to play against. That's not a real issue with the game, it's a personal issue with not liking what's meta.
