Just wanted to give a quick update! We are now about 2.5 weeks post SNOO and sleeping through the night! We either do a dream feed around 11pm and sleep until 7:30am or no dream feed and wake up at 6am (I decide based on how tired I am at night 😂) and this is the sound machine I found that I like best for all night white noise amzn.to/2KkznnO

Awww girl! I still co-sleep with my kids 🥰 I told the kids when school starts they have to sleep in their own rooms 😩 I’m trying to be firm but deep down I’ll miss them 💔 seriously wish I had this when my kids were little 😅 I nursed on demand, through the night until 16 months with my son ❤️ little sleep but lots of cuddles!

You are such a mama inspiration Jessica, love you!!! I would love to co-sleep but we have two huge dogs who were there first lol but I do so love the nursing connection and at least having him in my room.

When he was sleeping through the night at 2 months, did you nurse him at night during that long stretch? If not, did you pump? Im always afraid my supply will decrease if we stop night time feedings.

I keep thinking someone is ringing my doorbell haha. So we have pretty much decided we're getting the Snoo after the first few weeks as long as my baby takes to rocking and white noise the first few weeks. Do you think it's silly to wait a couple of weeks to decide? Do you find the Snoo reduced the putting the baby to sleep in the carrier and the witching hour? That's my dream...
@MyJewishMommyLife5 жыл бұрын
Lol totally get that!! Umm I think that's fine as the first few weeks newborns are in the honeymoon stage and will sleep whenever wherever and you actually dont want them sleeping for more than 3 hours at a time at night because they need to eat anyways. Personally I still did / do use the carrier for the witching hour but if you did just use the Snoo at that time I would think it would work. All the best of luck to you!!

May I recommend buy the little one sleep and sleep train worked for us w did the cry it out loud and shushing patting. It is detailed. I can send you a sample guide of what a typical day sleep would be for naps for your 5-month-old and as well for your toddler. Also don't rush to transition your boy out of a crib unless he is actually getting out of a crib and then just transition the crib into a toddler bed if it allows to do so. Your youngest one can still be in a pac n play for a while. I hope this helps you out a lot. Our boy sleeps well in a pac n play on vacation no issues.

Just saw this video. Wondering when you transitioned him out of the sack? After he was transitioned to the pack n play . Did it work?
@MyJewishMommyLife4 жыл бұрын
Yes we transitioned out of the Snoo sack when he was in the pack n play and could roll over.

Are you talking about the rental program through the website (minimum 30days)? If not, what site can you rent the Snoo for travel purposes?
@MyJewishMommyLife5 жыл бұрын
Yes unfortunately at the moment that's the only rental option that we could find! We were in Florida for a week staying with family so it was worth it to me to rent it but definitely an annoying expense!

What do you mean that you kept your baby’s arms out? We are 10 weeks in using the Snoo and I was wondering about doing this. I don’t usually put his arms inside the Velcro wrap anymore (I secure it around his ribcage), but his arms are still inside the zipper sack. Is this what you mean?
@MyJewishMommyLife5 жыл бұрын
On the larger sacks there’s three or four little snaps which can open and be arm holes!

How long did the 4 month sleep regression last? I have the snoo and my baby is 4.5 months and is going through a regression. He used to only wake once for a feed now it’s been around 3 times a night. I feed twice that wake up since I know he’s not nursing well due to being distracted. Thanks for all the tips
@MyJewishMommyLife4 жыл бұрын
For some it's just a few days, for others a few weeks just know every baby will settle into their routine it's totally natural and soon you'll have forgotten these long nights!

This was really helpful in terms of how you used a life event, the trip, to trigger the beginning of weaning Corey out of the snoo. It is helpful to know the general overall age ranges when things might be appropriate and successful so that as a parent you do not miss the prime opportunity for a needed change. You are probably right that waiting until after the 4-month sleep regression is the best time to consider it. It can wait a month or two thereafter, but beforehand would likely lead to less than success.

Totally! Thanks so much, so glad that you found it helpful!!
