@Malan35 2 ways we like to throw D.O.A. shrimp - faster retrieve with twitches resembling a scared baitfish. We throw this technique under mangroves and docks for snook and redfish. Let the bait sink to the bottom. The other retrieve is slow, slow, slow . . . it's almost a drag. Imagine pulling your rod tip and feeling everything that bait is doing on the bottom. Pop it once and the bite will occur on the fall. This is exactly what a real shrimp does in the water.

Captain Blair, in his shows, explains how to work the lures, please. Thank you. Greetings from Mazatlan Mexico.

@BDSMobile Unfortunately, this show was produced before last year's cold winter. The east coast has seen many more snook rebound than Florida's west coast.

nice snook fishing!! way to go! Did you ever rig this D.O.A. shrimps on a texas rig or carolina rig?.. talking about that "sound" fo the twitch.. ?? I mean if the bottom isn't to mudy it should work well..

So do you guys think that flipping docks with shrimp in these 56 57 degree mornings here In sw Florida is effective this time of year
@addictivefishing5 жыл бұрын
Not for snook. They will be sluggish with colder water temps. Redfish should have no issues.

i dont get it why is there so many lure colors? like the doa shrimp why is there pink,puruple, red...etc i thought the color of the lure suppose to represent the lure in the real life like for doa shrimp wouldnt the holo and glow in the dark be the best color since its close to shrimp color?
