Higgins and White were a different breed to O’Sullivan, Jimmy is so likeable and Alex was funny and a hell raiser, O’Sullivan is a genius and the best of the three at snooker, but a bit of an old woman.

My dad used to be close friends with jimmy white and i remember my being in the car with my mum and dad and picking up jimmy from the train station to take him and my dad to rileys snooker club in croydon.....gutted i wasnt old enough to go and play with them

To be honest I've never really watched Jimmy White during his Snooker domination day not because I didn't want to I just didn't have a satellite growing up but one things for certain he is a Snooker legend his World Championship story is rather heartbreaking all those finals and no win tough going but hey at least he reached the final which is an achievement itself

Tbf if it wasn't for drinking/drugs, he wouldn't be the guy he is today. Still very successful in the snooker world, seniors/exhibitions etc. Alex Higgins would be turning in his grave if he knew how "snobby" snooker has became or more so "professional TV tournaments" have became. Bring back ....smokes drink and real atmosphere 👌👍👊

He's right about the quality of Charlie these days. 90% of cocaine on the streets in the UK is less than 5% pure. That's not hyperbole, that's a fact. How people keep putting their hand in their pocket at £100 a gram for it is beyond me. London Charlie in the 80s and 90s was mental. @Nigel yes and after smoking my first joint at 12, I’m now 43, I only just got clean off speed a year this March. Thanks to the support of my best friend. I was taking that everyday for over 20 years. Now that stuff fucks with your subconscious mind in ways I never thought possible, on top of the trauma’s I was running from while on it. I’m lucky I’ve made it to this age. 🙏🏼 Hope your clean and doing well my friend
