Some of these nicknames are wrong... Ding Junhui is called "The Dragon", Mark Selby is "The Jester from Leicester", Neil Robertson is "The Thunder from Down Under" and Judd Trump is the "Ace in the pack"

Unbelievable that Neil got a 100 centuries in one season

Well done showing both centuries and maximums. Its crazy to think of how hard that max is in comparison. Maybe 10% of centuries for a top notch player? It'd be interesting to see centuries/frames played. That has to make maximums like 1% ers

Number of good players now vs number of official events - not like ANYONE will catch Ronnie in the coming 10 years.

There is a noticeable advantage going to players who are currently active or were fairly recently. A number of factors seem to contribute to that. There are a lot more tournaments played in a year now. The tables seem to play more consistently, and the cloths are finer. (or so I'm told.) And certainly with more money available in more tournaments the game has gotten more competitive. Skill levels are so high that the only way to beat some opponents is to keep them off the table, and that means to aim for a clearance at every visit. It's brutally Darwinian.

Parrott didn't make many more century breaks over the rest of his career after being one of the first to make 200 in the early 1990's. Parrott became veey boring by 1993 switching to an all out defensive game got him nowhere after 1992.

I wonder if Jimmy White can still play enough official matches to get past Steve Davis' 338 centuries. He needs 16 more. Ronnie's record will probably be beaten by Trump at some point.

I agree that O'Sullivan is the GOAT, but none of the other replies address the specific comment that Trump will end up with the record for career century breaks.

@@roberthudson1959 Exactly. The title states century breaks not all time career stats and records. Some people just want to live their whole life uneducated.
